There's more to it with the currants, the federal ban was lifted in 1966, but some states kept their bans and others didn't. More states allow you to grow currants now as more bans have been lifted so check you're local laws if you ever want to plant any. ( I wanted gooseberry plants and they were included in teh ban before it was lifted) Always fun to watch you guys, good luck with your toast run!
Something cool I have learned from watching other people play plateup is if you have a splitter facing something like dishes it will wash the dishes but only if nothing else is connected to it. It also works with research and copying
blueberry soup is such a staple here, but my own personal favourite is the strawberry version, and a lot of schools here serve some kind of cold berry/fruit soup with porridge which was one of my favourite school meals w
A polish fan here - I myself am not a big fan of fruit soup, but my friend love it :) So in Poland we have hot fruit soups like an apple&pear soup and a lot, lot of cold fruit soup - I saw one with berries/watermelon/plums etc. And in some part of Poland you eat a soup made from dried fruit on Chrismas Eve (I don't mean kompot :P)!
I am Portuguese and this episode shook me ahah, carrot soup is very common here, it's a warm soup and it's my favourite! I had no idea it wasn't a thing there
The carrot soup being popular may have come from the World War food rationing. Food Theory did a video on carrots being good for the eyes and its roots in propaganda for the UK to help justify it excess supply of carrots in food rations.
my grandma always make me this vegetables and fruits soup when we sick! it's always have pear, lychee, green mango, seaweed, potato, sweet pumpkin, coconut, coconut water, celery, corn and carrot! its sweet but also spicy 😁
In Indonesia we have a fruit soup with fresh fruit like dragon fruit, cantaloupe, honey dew, strawberries, coconut in coconut water, shaved ice and condensed milk and it’s so good
I actually tried the charcuterie board during the last playtest and it wasn't too bad. It's a piece of cheese, a sliced apple, and nuts. You only have to cut the apple the rest can just be placed on the serving board. Plus you don't have to wash the serving boards! I would just reuse the same two boards even though I had a whole stack (disgusting, I know!). I did it with a toast run and the next card I got was coffee as a dessert option so they could choose between a coffee or a charcuterie board. It was definitely stressful, but I managed to franchise. It did kill my franchise early though. The biggest reason why I managed to even last so long was that I took a dishwasher with me at the beginning of the first run, but I didn't have one for my franchise. Plus I had taken morning rush with me, because it was preferable to more messes.
My mom makes this Cambodian dish called Samlar machu (sour soup) and it has pineapple and tomatoes in it. Very popular soup to eat. We put pork or fish as the protein.
Carrot soup is delicious, there are so many variants (like with ginger, with apricots, with red lentils). Parsnip pear soup is wonderfully earthy but with a gentle floral sweetness from the pears.
Fun fact: Botanically speaking vegetables don't exist, That's a culinary term. Onions and garlic are bulbs, potatoes are tubers, asparagus and rhubarb are stems, lettuces and cabbage are leaves, mushrooms are fungi and radishes and carrots are roots.
Not sure about other states, but South Dakota you can buy currant plants. I'm guessing it's because we don't have an issue with it spreading like some places do.
There's potato and carrot soup (in chicken stock), but it's clear soup. Btw the booking desk is even more op in 0.20. You guys should definitely give it a try!
Overbookings in Hotel/Restaurant business sucks. I know that it's because they have a certain level of cancelations but then people who have made arrangements don't get what they have already registered for and it's terrible.
The only fruit soup I drink/eat is Chinese pear soup (sweet version). I just searched up other versions of pear soup and saw a pear + chicken soup recipe
I’d love if y’all could take more food items because it would spice things up a bit, but I totally get that it can screw over runs so I get it. I find a lot of the cards in this game can severely limit what you can take. For example, the card y’all took that lets them eat twice. Y’all really can’t get other food items, otherwise you have to really pay attention then.
Does aggressive gameplay mean not taking any side dishes? I'm confused, what does this mean? I watched the entire episode and it felt like any other with Aenne and myself included.
Carrot soup is great, but if we're going fruity and orange then I enjoy making an Apple and Butternut Squash soup... yummo
I’m living for the meme pictures on every episode of plate up, this one is just too hilarious! 🤣🤣

Only work with wash basin, not normal sink or power sink. Also work with Gas override!
That's cool. Is it supposed to do that?
@@Firsona It's technically a bug, but the dev is looking to add an item that is designed to do that into the game.
Some fruit soups are probably more of a Euro thing. I had cold blueberry soup when visiting a Finnish friend.

Coconut chicken soup, Pear herbal soup, Chinese apple herbal soup with pork ribs are some of the popular Asian Chinese soups too.
Rik!!! I missed you
9:33
I personally prefer to ask "what's right with me?" instead of what's wrong because the list always seems shorter
Boy’s night! Love Rik joke as always

Always good to see rik
Always good to see more plate up.

Imagine if Aenne as a customer causes a fail at some point.
Ash: "never seen any fruit in any soup"
Squash/pumpkin soup and tomato soup are the only two I can think of for America.
As a brit I've never seen carrot soup in my life, or even heard about it until this game.
Yes we want to see franchise in the future 😁.
Price was largely correct about currants

Great episode looking forward to seeing the next one so much!

The Solo Trio are here, on the Smallest Map Layout.
This seems awfully convenient.

Strawberry soup is a southeastern thing I've seen and it's a cold soup

The boys are backkk

Miss Jackson says "All you smelly boys" 🎧🎹
Can you fit in all 5 franchises in 1 episode? Since you said you'd die day 1
It's always a fun time figuring out why the video title is named that way hahaha!
Where Jazzy and Aenne?
I believe they were planning Aenne's Birthday trip away
It's been years since I watched yall still make me laugh the last time I watched yall was jsab/just shapes and beats
Overbookings in Hotel/Restaurant business sucks. I know that it's because they have a certain level of cancelations but then people who have made arrangements don't get what they have already registered for and it's terrible.
My wife and I do something similar to Rik and his wife but we do it with Bar Rescue with Jon Trafford
Should have bought the booking desk!
The only fruit soup I drink/eat is Chinese pear soup (sweet version). I just searched up other versions of pear soup and saw a pear + chicken soup recipe
My mom makes an awesome chinese apple & carrot soup. More on the sweeter side & amazing for a cough. :)
I'm pretty sure most squash soups have apple in them for flavor.
Great title!

Currants are illegal because they have the white pin blister rust
People will correct if THEY think it is incorrect, even when they are incorrect.
fruit soup is common in my country most popular one is pear soup
What's Eating Gilbert Grape, and its new sequel, Who's Eating Carrot Soup?
THE BOYS
🤩 ᵖʳᵒᵐᵒˢᵐ
Why does the title say “4-Player Gameplay”
Good thing about the all boys club is that they can go aggressive type of gameplay.
Does aggressive gameplay mean not taking any side dishes? I'm confused, what does this mean? I watched the entire episode and it felt like any other with Aenne and myself included.
This comment makes no sense and is a bit sexist, tbh...
Mind going into exact detail about this comment? Literally nothing has changed about their gameplay or how they operate.
Umm, have you _seen_ any Stumpt videos with Jas and Aenne in them? Because I think those two can do aggressive better than the boys can.
for me it's look the same and if you really watch them regularly Aenne and Jas can be more "aggressive" than the boys 😒
