I think those clips on the stealth hunter's waist in 2024 are only included to help it be a "statue" in the set so it doesn't fall over when you place it on the plate. This particular idea is actually really interesting since it makes it feel like Exo-Force was an actual manga series in the Lego City universe, and the original Exo-Force theme was the way for us to see what everyone read in the manga series. I do hope we see more Exo-Force stuff, like maybe an extension to the Robot World with either the Exo-Force teams, or the robots featured. 👀

It's great to see how the Lego City theme is evolving. When I was younger, my mom and her side of the family would only get me City sets and I used to feel like they needed support and some creativity from other themes like Creator and even Sports to actually stand on their own legs. Nowadays sets however are feeling much more cohesive and building a whole lively town which is more than police - firemen - construction. That said, as lego fans, we need our version of "Naxx out" for Bionicle or Exo-Force at this point until the themes make a full come back. Look at how lego Castle is slowly creeping in from time to time (even if, as of right now, mostly on big sets and not full waves) lol
Wanted to let you know that I enjoy and appreciate that you do content on sets and themes that you personally buy and not just on the ones you got from LAN. 95% or more that's the only content they post. And I know that I would love anything that I personally received for free so their opinions on sets are meaningless to me and a lot of others. Keep up the good work!!
The remake is really cool! I really like the fact that it maintains the style that distinguishes Exo-force's mechs from those of other themes. Really awesome!😀
I wish I still had my Stealth Hunter, but it was disassembled and scattered among all my Legos as a kid. I don't even know if I would be able to find all of the parts again.
They're always tricky parts to find because the stickers basically make each part unique. Putting mine back together was quite a pain - ended up having to buy a few parts off Bricklink. Well worth it though!
As much as I love LEGO, words cannot describe how much I dislike that fused mech limb piece. If it weren’t for that piece, a lot of recent mechs would be really good!

@@CheeseyStudios definitely a strange way to go about it but hey something had to become a sandbox for nostalgia as Lego knows the adult audience is a big portion of revenue. And to add it is easier to market it in an already established line than starting a nostalgia specific line for each theme which would kinda be a harder sell to kids. Also means it will help boost sales in the city line which definitely takes a back burner at times to other lines. Give me some rock raiders love Lego it's long overdue.
I always enjoy references to other Lego themes, even where you least expect it, like a reference to Power Miners in a Friends set (it's not super obvious, but a vending machine in similar colours to the one in Lavatraz appears in the Friends Ski Slope from last year)
This years city wave is really good. I'm looking forward to getting several of the sets. It's kind of annoying, though, that the jungle wave has been split up, with the gorilla set being released in August and all the others being released on June 1st(which I still haven't been able to find a single one of in store)
I'm shocked at this! It's really great they made this, I don't like it quite as much as the original but it's still really cool! I'd buy it if it was sold on its own, but I don't have much space for Lego, and for me I doubt it'd be worth paying for the entire build even though it is cool. I also love that the other sets reference it too!
I do think the more lanky almost skeletal limbs and proportions of og Exo Force is one of the things that give the line such an iconic look, but this remake does a good job of keeping enough of that original feel while updating it to modern standards
Reminds me of when the makers of Ninjago literally took 2 Ultra Agents characters and placed them in the show in Season 4: Tournament of Elements as side-characters Speaking of which, they made a big comeback in the new Dragons Rising sets with new designs and prints. They will also most likely be in Dragons Rising Season 2 Part 2 according to new screenshots from imdb
I kind of like how the mech suit look’s a bit watered down compared to the original since it’s meant to be a statue as part of an amusement park ride. Basically the cheesy but cool looking thing visitors can snap a few photo’s with and look back on.
Dude, your pronunciation of 'Bionicle' at 4:34 made me do a double-take xD You've earned yourself a subscriber! I'm looking forward to watching your videos.

It is a fun set all-around - a nice smaller rollercoaster that feels like it packs more of a punch than the bigger ones. I was expecting it to cost a lot more too. Most of the City prices are actually decent this summer. What?????
@CheeseyStudios for sure. I was at Wal-Mart and surprised to see the prices for them. I always say approximately 10 bricks per dollar is a good base for a set and this Robot World set is right there. Side eyeing the X-Men Jet lol
Having these sets come in regular stores makes sure there are ways to get them discounted, which can range from a permanent 5-10 dollar discount all the way down to 30% off. (30 dollar discount) I'm not impressed by the price per se, but it is certainly a believable and reasonable price for what you get with this. A pretty substantial build with tons of detail and quite a few minifigures.

I wonder if the Exo-Force is some kind of book or movie in Lego City, hence the theme park. Or maybe the Exo-force was real and this is some kind of replica.

Man, after so many years of being a fan I got the fuzzies. Lego remembered us❤🤖
❤️
I wish I still had my Stealth Hunter, but it was disassembled and scattered among all my Legos as a kid. I don't even know if I would be able to find all of the parts again.
They're always tricky parts to find because the stickers basically make each part unique. Putting mine back together was quite a pain - ended up having to buy a few parts off Bricklink. Well worth it though!
As much as I love LEGO, words cannot describe how much I dislike that fused mech limb piece. If it weren’t for that piece, a lot of recent mechs would be really good!
Oh man, alien conquest was such a good theme too! I’m such an exo force fan so I love this
The callbacks certainly take me back. I've gotta do an Alien Conquest video one of these days!
City this year is the best wave ever
The Space sets, the Lego truck, this set, tour bus are all amazing sets
4:32 My favorite reference in this set is the Ultra Agents reference, its my favorite retired theme
Someone should combine this roller coaster with the pirates 3 in 1 coaster and the space coaster
I forget how many little coasters they've made now! It's a fun parts system
I really appreciate looking through the nods and throwbacks in lego city. I dont get much chance to really spend much on lego but love to get the odd set and chill out with some scotch some evenings and just get building. Definitely appreciate seeing the nods to exo force. Definitely niche but 14 year old me at the time loved it and glad its not been completly forgotten by Lego.
Saw johnny thunder the other day in bigw and god damn i had to take a double take... I now have johnny thunder again
It's crazy how City of all things has become a vessel for so much nostalgia! It makes me wonder what they'll bring back next year...
Give me some rock raiders love Lego it's long overdue.
heck yeah! Loved exo force growing up. I sold all my old sets except AO-1, my first one!
Glad you still have it! Great set
I always enjoy references to other Lego themes, even where you least expect it, like a reference to Power Miners in a Friends set (it's not super obvious, but a vending machine in similar colours to the one in Lavatraz appears in the Friends Ski Slope from last year)
That old vending machine is iconic 😂
This years city wave is really good. I'm looking forward to getting several of the sets. It's kind of annoying, though, that the jungle wave has been split up, with the gorilla set being released in August and all the others being released on June 1st(which I still haven't been able to find a single one of in store)
Oh wait, really? The summer release schedule has been so weird the past few years
I'm shocked at this!
Reminds me of when the makers of Ninjago literally took 2 Ultra Agents characters and placed them in the show in Season 4: Tournament of Elements as side-characters
Speaking of which, they made a big comeback in the new Dragons Rising sets with new designs and prints.
It definitely makes sense in context! I'm sure some of those decisions were very intentional, too
Oh man Exo-Force its up there alongside powerminers as one of my all time favorite lego themes
good video, great set. i hope lego transformers makes starscream
Thank you!
I actually find this amazing as I adore Exoforce for being so experimental of a series.
Exo-Force is peak 👌
can't wait to grab this set
Dude, your pronunciation of 'Bionicle' at 4:34 made me do a double-take xD
You've earned yourself a subscriber! I'm looking forward to watching your videos.
Lol! Glad to have you here - welcome!
lego city now includes explorers, space and exoforce... id be interested in seeing them do a Pharaos Quest
in 2024 Stealth Hunter 7700 is still perfect set! I would love to see it in the store again
I’d really like them to reboot the theme. The modern mecha sets are really cool, and this time they could do fully enclosed cockpits and add heads to all the machines, go for gold with a lot of Gundam and other mecha references
Exo-Force mechs with modern pieces would be incredible
What!? What!? What!? Johnny and Exo-Force is back?
I know Lego sets are 90% mechs now but Exo-Force is back!?
What a time to be alive!
I love lego mechs they are so cool and you can put the arms and legs however you want
I was so hyped when I noticed it in the lego catalog
It's so awesome to see Exo-Force return - what a pleasant surprise!
@@CheeseyStudios I'm just really happy I found your channel because I feel like I didn't have anyone who would know how excited I was. I watched all the other videos and can't wait for the one with the giant jet turbine robot
I think I may actually pick this set up for the stealth hunter alone
Right? 😂 You'll have to see how expensive the sticker sheet is on BL first. I think that's the only unique and 'rare' part of the set
This is so much better than a $150 GWP only available for like a week or two! It's probably not gonna take long for someone to make instructions that turn the rest of the set into a mech bay or something
I'm so excited to see what people do with this! I'd love to build the other mechs in this style, too
Ahh yes, cozy Cheesey videos on a cold rainy day, it's like Christmas :)
I can't wait to see people remaking all the old sets with the style of this stealth hunter like what people did with gwp Tahu
Right?? That'll be so cool
Hello cheesey just came back to watch this and its amazing as usual, keep up these amazing videos
Really appreciate it!
Exo-Force and Bionicle are my top themes in the Lego lineup. I may have to snag this set for the callbacks but it's a rather solid build despite them. *stares at my Stealth Hunter on my shelf in contemplation*
(30 dollar discount)
I'm not impressed by the price per se, but it is certainly a believable and reasonable price for what you get with this. A pretty substantial build with tons of detail and quite a few minifigures.
EXO FORCE was GOAT and underated
Facts
I love the implication that the only qualifier for being a Speed Champions set is the number of stickers
More stickers than bricks
I'd hope to maybe see more mech themed sets as Mecha and gundam Shows have exploded in popularity over the last couple years.
They definitely do a lot of mechs these days between Ninjago and Monkie Kid, and even Star Wars has mechs now! 😂
i never cared for exo force since it was released well into my "dark age", but this is a neat homage and a great little mech
With how popular Mechas have become they should return Exo-Force as a product line. It was one of my favs as a kid and to this day if i buy legos its often the mechas.
Right? I feel there's a lot of potential there.
Here hoping for a soft reboot or at least a couple of throw back sets.
We basically got a throw back here
Dang this wave is darn impressive, and it's simply Lego City theme? Awesome!
most recognizable set he says, when someone say Exo-force only one set comes to mind and it's Red and has a really cool claw hand
bad
@@CheeseyStudios sorry just to me the grand titan will always be the most iconic of the Exo force
this is a cool set and an exceptional video, thanks for making it
I love that lego is giving homage to older lego themes
Glad to see lego continuing to revisit older themes and remake them, maybe we’ll get a power miners set if we’re lucky 👀
Power Miners remake in any form would be so legendary
What? No way. Bring back exoforce yeah baby!
I'd love to see a full-on theme again 😩
Great review!
Thank you!
I noticed this as well. I loved Exo-Force!
Definitely one of my all-time favorite LEGO themes. It's so cool to see it get a bit of recognition with this set!
Wait, what!?
And here I was, deciding to look up Exo force adter years. Nice!
You're definitely at the right channel! Lots of fun Exo-Force stuff here :)
@@CheeseyStudiosAlright, it may have been a year at most...
From someone who used to watch these sorts of reviews back in 2008, yours are great.
Looking forward to you covering the remaining Exo-force sets!
Man I loved exo force, I had so many sets
I wish I still had them
Did you sell them?
With how large this set is, I kind of which they'd just had it be the A.01 alone since it's a lot harder to justify putting down 130Cad for that many pieces in a set given how many of them I don't actually want.
If you can get your hands on the sticker sheet, everything else is common parts which is nice!
I hope they will make a reboot/review version on the line of mechs
Would love to see a second era of Exo-Force!
I wonder if the Exo-Force is some kind of book or movie in Lego City, hence the theme park. Or maybe the Exo-force was real and this is some kind of replica.
Right? I had the same question! I personally like to think it's real - maybe even it's the history of LEGO City
i always go back and forth as to whether i like to think the more sci-fi/fantastical themes exist within lego city, or if they're just pieces of media. i kinda like the idea that Exo-Force is a popular anime series within the lego world, and Bionicle is a video game franchise
However fun this is, I don't think Lego has a clear and invested story where all timelines of Exo-force, space and city have a logical and chronological order. If anything they are a little bit fantastical in almost everything, allowing you to fill in the blanks of the story.
I bought this set for the Stealth Hunter. If LEGO revived Exo Force--even in this paired-down style and scale--they would fly off shelves.
I sure would be buying them!
I definitely would not mind an exo force remake...
Those are probably my earliest Lego sets...
Good times. It was so ahead of its time!
it seems city has really become a vehicle for other themes at this point
It's quite bizarre, but hey, better than nothing!
In all honesty, this review makes me want to buy this set even more. Now i'm hoping they don't retire at any time soon
Hopefully it'll stick around a good while!
