I love reading books , but when I like a book a lot, I try to read it as slowly as I can, to stay in that certain atmosphere for a while. It just makes it a lot more enjoyable and memorable. i LOVE the sinclair’s mysteries so much! have you ever considered reading the murder most unladylike series? it’s very similar to the sinclair’s mysteries
12:18 that's exactly why you shouldn't binge-read several books on one day for the sake of finishing as many books as possible. If she hadn't read both books right after each other she would have maybe enjoyed Christie's Poirot more or differently. Note how she doesn't compare it to any other author's books, just the one she read several hours earlier. And the books are different genres, so it doesn't make sense to compare the way she does here. Please people enjoy your books. Don't read because you think you have to read a certain amount a day. Sometimes a single page is worth re-reading and reflecting for weeks and that is okay. Books are not Netflix series or junk food.
It's also okay to read as many books as fast as you'd like because it's something you enjoy and that gives you a feeling of accomplishment! Books are meant to be read however someone wants to read them. There's no "one right way" to be a reader. People can do it however they want and it's just as valid :)

I'm trying to get into reading (you were the inspiration 😅) and I just feel like because I'm not practiced, I don't understand things well. I can read easier books but I want to be able to read things like Dante or Carl Jung, or anything a bit harder but I just can't take it in, the wording is too advanced. This is a request for a very different kind of video than your usual, but I would love a video where you screenshare while you annotate a book on Kindle and do a voiceover explaining why you're noting down what you are; I've always had a hard time understanding /how/ I'm supposed to think more critically about books and would love to see an example! I think Poirot is pronounced 'pwah-Roh' it's a french name so you dont say the "t'
