When I finished my overnight shift as a cop in Puerto Rico, I drove to the beach to relax because it was empty. As I got settled, I looked out to the beautiful Caribbean sea and spotted a small child close to shore. I was taken aback by the fact there was no one around and this kid couldn't have been more than 5yrs old. As I jumped up to gather myself and run out, the apparition was gone. I called it in and police and rescue shortly arrived. I waded in the surf immediately, but found no one. Rescue was equally unsuccessful. No reports were filed by anyone in distress and no mention was ever made again. One colleague told me the apparition is legend. That child was dragged to his death by riptide 10yrs earlier. Every now and again, he's spotted by some poor lone individual. I guess it was my turn that day. Don't care if I'm not believed. I know what I saw and I still can't shake it. That was over 25yrs ago.
That is believable. I think souls that are truma victims end up "stuck" at the site of their death. Seen this on battlegrounds too. I bet parts of old WW1 and WW2 Battlegrounds are super haunted.

Perhaps he had just been swimming, explaining the tousled hair. Also the T-shirt would have been worn as underwear back then. This shot was most likely taken moments after he came out of the water and before he got dressed

I think there are many deep sea creatures we have yet to encounter! The ocean is vast, larger than land and we have yet to explore all nooks and crannies. I know space is huge and unknown. The ocean is enormous and I think quite scary. The animals that have survived in the ocean haven’t been hunted by man and their lineage could stem from ancient times enabling them to be massive!
The "time travel" photos always annoy me. People don't do research about the time period and auto assume things are out of place. The man is most likely reading a note or rolling a cigarette, and his clothes aren't super out of place.

My friend’s father was British and I am witness to the fact that in the 60’s and 70’s he mowed the lawn in a suit. Mind you, we thought it was cute, but time travel didn’t occur to us. I will say they had actors playing scientists so the whole thing is sketchy. I wish they would not mix truth and fiction liike that :P

Apparently *everyone* knows that this mermaid sighting was fake, but noone can state the source or sources; only describe things and that is about it. So I have been figuring there is a definite cover up for what really happened that more or less fateful day.

The problem with his time travel photos is that also often people really don’t have a grass or clue what what fashions actually existed even if they weren’t common, and because they can’t see detail they make huge leaps about the activities of people.

I think there are many deep sea creatures we have yet to encounter! The ocean is vast, larger than land and we have yet to explore all nooks and crannies. I know space is huge and unknown. The ocean is enormous and I think quite scary. The animals that have survived in the ocean haven’t been hunted by man and their lineage could stem from ancient times enabling them to be massive!

My friend’s father was British and I am witness to the fact that in the 60’s and 70’s he mowed the lawn in a suit. Mind you, we thought it was cute, but time travel didn’t occur to us. The quality difference on a camera between a 2005 Smartphone and a 2002 flip phone is pretty huge. Don't pay attention to how short the gap in years is, pay attention to how different the technology was. :)
