The Grand Hotel, Nuwara Eliya, Sri Lanka 🇱🇰 Day trip from GlenMyu Estate July 2024

We did a day trip to Nuwara Eliya in July 2024.
An hour and a half drive away, we had lunch at the Grand Hotel.
The food was okay and made us appreciate the quality of the meals we serve at GlenMyu Estate.
We opted for battered fish and chips, a chicken wrap, and chicken burgers.
The cost was expensive compared to GlenMyu Estate, but we expected higher prices in a 5 star hotel.
The best things about eating lunch there was the view of the garden and the superb service from the staff.
It was good to do the day trip to Nuwara Eliya and experience something a little different.
Our next day trip will be to Ella to experience soke of the food that they serve there.
