Future Lanka Research and Development Foundation organized the largest-ever film competition in Sri Lanka with the legendary film director, Mr. Chandran Rutnam to empower the young filmmakers in the country. Mr. Chandran Rutnam, perhaps the greatest filmmaker this country has ever seen and undoubtedly the most distinguished achiever of the global scale has brought down some of the most iconic opportunities for Sri Lanka within a span of 40-plus years. Heartfelt gratitude to the title sponsor Trico Maritime Pvt Ltd for making the event possible. Chandran Rutnam inter-school film competition has been successful so far with the participants of 50+ schools and we’re finally ready to screen the creations of our talented youth. We have held hands in organizing this in order to bring out the talent of the youth by Understanding their interest in filmmaking and skills.
