It wasn't the extra card stock piece that stunted the slider. It was that you used THREE layers of foam tape on the snail and TWO to pop up the whole piece
As a previous commenter said, I don't think it was the extra layer of cardstock in the track. I've done that before, & it never hindered the slider element. I would suggest 2 things. First, as that commenter also said, have the same number of foam tape layers on the slider element as you do to pop up the background panel. Second, I noticed your pennies overlapped slightly on the back. I don't know that I've ever done a slider with 2 pennies, so I'm not sure how that would affect the slider movement, but I would recommend not having them overlap, since that creates a ridge that might conceivably hinder the slider movement. Other than that, I really like your card, Mindy! That snail is so cute, & I LOVE the way you did the speech bubble floating above him (her?). I don't know if I've ever seen that on an interactive card like this, but it is a great effect. Thank you for sharing this. Take care, & have an awesome day! :)
Cute card. Perhaps another layer of foam tape on back would allow more movement of the snail.
The snails pink shell is so cute! The slider element is a great idea!
I love your idea to hold ink pad in place! No need to spend a lot of money. Adorable card! ♥️
Such a cute card. Love the techniques you used. The pink pops! Awesome job, Mindy!
What a cute card! I love the slider element.
Great card, so cheers using the negative pieces.
Very cute, Mindy!! I’m going to try this one ❤️
So cute!! I just bought this die and I can't wait to use it :)
