The accurate representation of his strength and speed while also only fighting in a very reserved and functional style is really impressive. He fights with such smug superiority.
@@NeoondiscordI'm guessing 50/50. Homelander uses his lasers when dealing with humans because he's not bothered to exert effort, but against beings in the MK universe, he'll bring his lasers and strength.

@@simplydave9649 Well considering that it's a fighting game, I don't know, the laser will hurt him? Like any other move in a video game? You should be aware that Mortal Kombat isn't canon to the Boys or Invincible since canon Omni Man would only be hurt by the gods of Mortal Kombat. Explain how some actor like Johnny Cage will land a punch on Omni Man 😂. It's just a video game cameo, not a tie in cross over.
@@simplydave9649 Going by lore Homelanders heat vision MIGHT itch. If homelander and Omni man fought with their true strength instead of fighting game fairness then Homelander would be absolutely demolished.
Death battle made a good video about it but even they downplayed Omni mans strength, Homelander can scream loud which they thought gave Homelander a slight chance but in INVINCIBLE Omni man is only affected by a certain frequency of sound.
TL;DR: So going by feats, Homelanders laser wouldnt do shit to Omni man lol.
@@oriongabriel6966finally a smart dude, even the likes of Invincible Who took a Nuclear Bomb did almost do 0 damage, some weak heat vision aint doing shit to omni-man, + omni-man can just grab Homelander in to space and then he just dies.
Man is not flashy, just rigid as a flipping rock, efficient and really brutal. Omni-man and Homelander are perfect for this game, the air combos will suit them perfectly

The clear references to the show are a treat to see. Not just the fatality or other cut scene moves being the same but even the in game moves like the little spine break grab he has is a thing he did in the show. Love it.
And the move he uses to kill dark wing
He's not carrying the Earth. He's carrying a meteor the size of Texas. This is a line from the show, which you should watch.
it’s actually a reference to where he goes to the alien world and destroys it in the 2nd episode

Omni-Man seems like he's got a Fatal Blow you really have to watch out for, because the first hit is a behind teleport, meaning unlike some Fatal Blows that can be cancelled by getting hit first if you don't time it right, Omni-Man can punish an aggressive opponent by triggering his Fatal Blow and hitting you from an uninterruptable angle. That's brutal.

I’m excited for him my only concern with him is he going to be one those power house characters that has slow start ups because every character like this ends up being slow I hope that’s not the case with him he plays a lot like Superman from injustice 2.
