It's true. North Indians have remained in a silo for a long time. Since Y2K, with the advent of Internet and social media, people have become aware of NE India, it's culture and about it's tourism potential. The people of NE also held a lot of grudge before Y2K, as they were treated as outsider in their own land. Things have changed now with the change in govt and it's policies.
Mr.Minister is indeed very amusing and I must say his Hindi is damn good its really commending. But the sad part is that we who claims to be the part of mainland are oblivious about our own countrymen those residing in the far flung areas. I believe there is the need of frequent exchange and interaction of thoughts, literature and culture among different regions of the country. These types of continuous interaction between the different parts of this country will improve our understanding among ourselves and would improve the bonding as a countrymen and instill the sense of oneness among all.
