Her album "Purpose" is quite legendary in the fandom. Widely considered one of (if not the) best album by her to date. It also contains the two songs that stood out to you in this Killing Voice: Four Seasons and Gravity. Gravity being one of my favorite songs in all of K-Pop, made me really happy when when it appealed to you.

I think I have mentioned this to you before; Taeyeon's voice is what got me into K-Pop. She had her solo debut with 'I' in 2015 and I was hooked. I have listened to some things that Girls Generation have done but they did not interest me as much as Taeyeon's solo stuff (and I have no clue just why that is; I know they are basically Royalty of the Second Generation. OBVIOUSLY they have some GREAT material or they would not have been The Nations Girl Group. Some of their songs are catchy but not as much for me as Tae's solo work). Finding her led me to other stuff like Mamamoo, Twice, GFriend, BLACKPINK, Red Velvet, (G)I-DLE and DreamCatcher (which is now my Ult Group) and led into many newer groups. I was going to suggest Taeyeon's entire discography to you anyway so I am very glad that you decided to do that on your own. There are of course many songs they left out of this episode of Killing Voice. I guess they only put in her very most popular songs, which makes sense. Some of these needed Music Videos but never got them. For instance, 'Gravity' easily could have been a Title track. Others that did have MVs probably should have been b-sides (that would be SM's goons mucking with their talent's careers, and not Tae's fault...). But somehow, I don't think they people at Killing Voice would have known exactly where to put her song 'Something New' while she was on this show, so that is likely why it did not get attention here. GREAT fun song with a SUPRISING MV that I LOVED. :)

You're right. She's a sweetheart 🥰 and also so down to earth including to her juniors whether they're popular or not. She treated all the same, staff or idol. She's also very supportive of her fellow colleagues
And she is also now 'gun-shy', having been abused by the system enough that she only has very few people she actually trusts. She has had her stylists and wardrobe people around her for her entire career, so when she did her reaction videos to her own songs (at least for Weekend and for INVU), she had them react to the MVs with her. So these days she is a very shy person, but it seems like that is PTSD related (she was already an introvert before all this crap happened...can you imagine being picked as Group Leader as an introvert? WOW! And then she caught all that hell for all the crap that happened to the group from outside and from inside of it...).

You really can’t go wrong with her full albums. It’s not that her minis are bad, some of my favorites come from those, but her studio albums just hit different. So My Voice Deluxe (her 1st, 17 tracks) and Purpose Repackaged (2nd, 15 tracks) would be my suggestion for either a reaction or just checking out privately. You’ve heard quite a few songs from those in this Killing Voice.
