It's a pleasure to watch a Master Cratftsman at work. Great attention to detail and an exemplary work ethic. Thank you for sharing your years of knowledge that is invaluable. Thanks for the video, very informative how to fix cornice problem, although I prefer to work and see you work on hot lime plastering rather gypsum or much much less breathable NHL. Do please videos on lime plastering as the one you did previously with the bay window, that was very well explained, although it could be longer. Is there a chance please, to do video on how to repair old lime plaster, for example ceiling, or parts of the wall? I have removed cornices from my room as I never liked them, and they showed cracks on several places, didn’t look very nice, and room looked always smaller than it actually is due to those gypsum cornices, so I took them down. I also found mould behind which was not surprising to see. Unfortunately, when I removed the cornice from the wall and ceiling, it ripped off some of the original lime plaster. What would be best way to repair it? Did you came across such repairs? Would much appreciate any advice as this is my pending job. Regarding the room you are working in this video in, are walls surrounding chimney breast coloured in pink or red, gypsum plastered? They look (colour) kind of similar to the colour of the ceiling you plastered with gypsum. Thanks
