doesn't matter how well it sparks it's how fast you can start the fire with minimal effort because you have practiced and have the proper tinder it usually takes me one or two or three strikes I'm not eager to screw around I want to eat or stay warm
kenny cadarett - That’s true of any fire. I am dealing with ferro rods in sequential videos; I am not covering all aspects of the subject in one video. I will get to fire mentality much further down the line. Even so, a fire is much easier to get started with a ferro rod & striker that throws a lot of sparks than one that doesn’t.
