  • Hey everyone! This month, I'll be one of the judges for JTC Guitar's April #jamofthemonth! This even is in collaboration with TwNotes, giving you the awesome opportunity to win awesome prizes! To take part, head over to www.jtcguitar.com to grab the free backing track, and lay down your tastiest licks for us to enjoy! ALSO! You will be able to grab any of my lesson packs at 30% off once you have downloaded the backing track!
HINT: No technical virtuosity needed! If you can tell an awesome 'story' with your solo, and take me to another dimension melodically, you will stand out big time!

I came across this dude's channel since the sub was only under 1000 subs, I already realised such a monstrous guitar player should have been recognized by millions of people, Your guitar technique is beyond human.

Hey Tramaine, I’ve started using the free amp capturing software NAM (Neural Amp Modeller). I’ve seen side by side comparisons between NAM and Kempers. Seem pretty much spot on. What AMP makes and models and CABs do you use through your Kemper? Mostly thinking about lead tone as I’m always envious of your lead tones lol 😆 Thank you 😊

Awesome! I’ll have to check those out 🙏🏼 I use mostly Mesa amps, my go-to amp for lead though is the Mesa Studio Preamp, with the Mesa 4x12 IR. I sometimes use a ‘booster’ in front (still in the Kemper) to get a more 80’s sound but that’s pretty much it! 😁

Every single piece, carefully sewn together... The different textures, techniques and subtleties are just sublime 🔥
After so many years of listening to guitar music, I felt like I just eventually hit bedrock and nothing is that exciting anymore to listen to but there were so many points in this video where I just had to pause, rewind or simply had to stand up from my chair because this was so well crafted and put together. And come on, that modal shift on 0:52? That was nasty!

Thank you very much! Awesome compliments like this I never expect from my videos. Interestingly, the videos (such as this) where I think ‘ I’m not gonna go mad with technique, just gonna play what I feel and enjoy the track’ , seem to translate best to everyone, and they seem to feel what I felt during that performance which is what music is about!
