- 23 year old Ashley is an unemployed Princess who’s somehow managed to convince her parents and her boyfriend into giving her a monthly allowance. Ashley thinks most jobs are beneath her, so she has plenty of time to spend spending their money. Her family and friends are fed up - but will they be able to stick to their guns and help Ashley learn to stand on her own two feet? Financial expert Gail Vaz-Oxlade has her work cut out for her with this entitled Princess.
He needs to ditch her...she is nasty and rude..so self absorbed....
Hopefully Brandon dumped this flake and moved on to a greener pasture. Brandon: you need to set the bar higher when you are looking for a life partner instead of taking on a huge liability.

She has serious ideas above her station. She's the child of two working class parents, she has a working class boyfriend, all three of whom work bloody hard and she thinks she's Rihanna. He needs to dump her and kick her out of his apartment.
Hopefully it's just his name on the lease since he's paying all the rent. But I suspect she's on the lease too and that would complicate things.
Honestly can’t blame her, they cater to her every whim. Why would she change? The people in her life are enabling the issue. Being pampered is totally great and I could understand the generosity if it wasn’t for her poor attitude, entitlement and disrespect. Like what do they even like about this girl?
She’s not even that attractive, and is so spoiled it’s insane. The boyfriend putting up with it is as bad as the parents or worse. He should have dumped her and found someone who brought something to the table too.
Yea, all she has to do is find a sucker willing to fund her lifestyle/wants and it looks like she's done that or adept at finding men who will enable that. I could easily see her finding a guy that gets her on real housewives or something, that's what her vision for herself is in life and she's found people to fund it.
Ashley isn’t the villain here. Her parents raised her wrong, especially the mother. The bf should dump her.
The boyfriend enables this behavior just as much as the parents. If Brandon had kicked her to the curb a long time ago, she would be getting used by guys daily until she got pregnant and became a permanent single mom.

I think this is my favorite episode of all of Gail’s shows. Watching that completely basic girl flounce around like like she’s special is just too funny. I hope she’s grown up. But if not, I hope we can see her in some new show. 😂😂😂

@@RareJewel777 Hmm. It didn’t occur to me to look at these Canadians through your lens of American race sensitivity. Now that I have, I still think she’s my favorite. She combines extreme mediocrity with extreme entitlement. And those qualities don’t have anything to do with her race, as far as I can tell. If you think they do, I’m happy to hear your thoughts.

When I was younger, I recall holding 3 jobs and dating someone who for some reason couldn't keep one for more than a few weeks. She rationalized that I "should" pay for everything because I was working and she wasn't. Needless to say that situation didn't last.

@RareJewel777 not everyone who gives a negative comment about Ashley does so on the basis of her black skin. The girl needs to change and that's a fact. If she was another race, she would still need to change. I'm a black woman like her...now attack me.

Few have seemingly altered their behavior on the set; some participants showed humility. Just stop it. I am specifically asking about external factors. The show is based on lack of character, so that was not my focus. So again, you too can answer the question based on external factors... because most of them "were not all that...."

Her mother thought she changed? I'm not sure what she changed but she had a terrible attitude and if she talked to a boss the way she talked to her boyfriend she'd be fired. In addition, IT'S NOT HER HOUSE! Who is she to lay down rules and regulations while she's gone? Brandon is the one paying for the condo and the bills and he should remind her of that (little) fact. I think she doesn't want to answer to anyone, rather, she wants to be the one who gives the orders. By leveraging other people's money, she just might get to that point of buying into a business and possibly being a partner or silent partner. I have no problem with anyone doing that. But, taking advantage of others isn't the way to do it.
