His diction is really great. As a filipino it was so easy to understand all his words. He's actually so artistic as the choice of words are not what we usually use in daily speaking but we actually know them by heart and its wonderful he was able to incorporate them in a rap like that yet we understand clearly and very well what he means. And you'll be surprised, if western music with this kind of rap heavy song has a lot of curse, he actually doesn't have it or its very minimal.

  • @RogueYTV
    @RogueYTV Год назад +43

yes, as a Filipino, if i hear this first time, i would understand it about 90% because i will probably mishear some lines like if he mentioned his place "Muntinlupa" but he called it "Munti" and if i just hear it 1st time i wouldnt get it quick and had to process it while other lines are being thrown, but everything is well and clearly said, but some pinoys aren't that crazy about rap, theres pinoys who love singing, and some love K-pop songs,
btw just to share it, there's a lot of technicals he is using in Tagalog, but if translated to english you wouldnt notice it because it a different word,
like for example in 4:46 he has a line where he said
    "Yung iba naman nabababawan"
    where "mababaw" means shallow
    and then after he said
    "yung bulsa ko pinapalalim"
    "lalim" means deep
so there will be a contrast of shallow and deep at that line but the whole meaning of it is like
    Lyrics: 4:46
    Yung iba naman nabababawan
    pero di na para atupagin
    di nila kasi maunawaan
    na yung bulsa ko pinapalalim
~direct translate to: and what it actually means
while others feel like I'm shallow (with his lyrics/no deeper meaning with what he speaks)
but i wouldnt mind them (i would ignore them)
because they cant understand (because hate is still a type of support)
that my wallet is getting deeper (and that support is making me money)
