@Krys Williams since when has there been a Duel Links anime spin-off and how did you get to be a featured character in this anime spin-off that I've never heard about before now? . All smartassery aside, I've actually got a monster high enough to make this list too if I happened to be a duelist in the anime. I was using a DEF deck and managed to get my Stone Statue of the Aztecs to 14,000DEF, which resulted in my opponent taking 26,000 dmg from attacking it. It was actually a duel replay that MegaCapG uploaded to his channel back in February 2017. Tbh the build I used for that defense deck wasn't my best build; my best build actually I had on DuelingNetwork back in 2015 and well I lost that build once the site was taken down by a Cease & Desist Order issued to DN by Nihon Ad Systems. @@korsaiyajinkami3766 It really isn't hard to get a monster with DEF high enough for the list. The real struggle is making that matter. Most of the time when my DEF is a deciding factor, it is after I used a card to lower the proposing monster's ATK.

Believe it or not, there was an instance in 5D's where a monster got to 6000 defense points, but it happened in a pretty forgettable duel. During episode 31, Crow and Yusei are dueling two Sector Security officers, who summon Gate Blocker 2, which has 3000 DEF. Superheavy samurais are my favourite Arc V deck alongside Raidraptors, so seeing Tetsudoo or Steam King in english make it here makes me glad, but Chimertech doesn't really count, I know you didnt say Original defense but Chimera's def is not fixed

I feel cheated that you counted tied monsters as separate spots on the list instead of just sharing the same spot. I think it would've made the list better and much more varied if you didn't do that. Also technically we don't know what Slifer's max stats could have been since I believe during the time Battle City aired in Japan, the OCG/TCG had no limit cap on deck size (the 60 cap was only introduced after some guy brought a deck to a regionals that had over 2000 cards and resulted in so much time being wasted during his duels for deck shuffling and even placing it on the god damn table for each duel) and I don't recall the anime ever stating there was a limit cap in Battle City or even period at any point. . If only the anime was better.
I thought a half of all zombie monsters would be number 1
Well since I see Don Thousand face ad the stard if a feeling who's gonna win this top 10 list...
Yeah, it's pretty obvious at this point xD
I disagree a little with the runner up. Years ago, the maximum amount was 80 cards, not 60, so it should be even higher than 48000.
And that might have even been before the 80 card limit was introduced. Before that some guys used a card with nearly every card that was allowed (which contained 2200 cards). They were disqualified since reshuffling the deck took too long. After that the number of cards was limited.
Why is ra not joint second if you have enough life points his attack and defences is massive. Also surely Helios and gren maju da eiza also have massive defence points so how come there not on the list???
Blue eyes ultimate Dragon should be on this list... or am I wrong?
Athrun Cohen not really just a 4500 ark beatstick with no effect
it has 3800 DEF, that’s not enough
The cut off for DEF is 4800, so BEWD misses out :)
Ultimate** I'm sorry
I don’t know about that I guess it’s because I like how blue eyes ultimate Dragon looks like that’s why I said it’s powerful
Actually we have 6000 def from Jack vs Max(5ds duel)
Oh shit.. Yeah myself and like 3 others who did research for this all COMPLETELY missed that one.. Thank you!
❤️❤️❤️
