As I get older, I realize what an amazing job “Nu Pogodi” did matching the animation to the sound track, like in the last part where the “growl” is used to show that the wolf is shell-shocked and frantically searching for something to drink to soothe his dry throat. And throwing the pistol at the lion who catches it in his mouth and starts flinging bullets by biting - that’s just Itchy and Scratchy level slapstick there. Great childhood memories.
