    I suggest you make a dulahan! The headless Coachman of Irish mythology! They used their heads as lanterns, so it would be a good opportunity to use glow in the dark paint!

    • @greenbeans995
      @greenbeans995 5 лет назад +7

      That sounds so cool honestly. I never heard of that before except for the headless horseman but the "using their heads as lanterns" sounds so much darker and a lot more of a chance for darker detail

  • @redandblueflower8585
    @redandblueflower8585 5 лет назад +166

    Ah, yes. Leprechauns. Let's learn about traditional leprechauns, yes?
    The leprechaun. An ugly Irishman that enjoys to see people annoyed and the glint of a gold coin. These old men are one with the wee-folk, what we call fairies now. He was no larger than a toadstool, and made shoes for both himself and any other leprechaun that needed a pair. He would carve these out of wood, and when or if a human asked for a pair he would curse them. Yes, he would curse shoes. Shoes weren't the only thing a leprechaun cursed, oh, no, not at all. He would curse anything a human would drop and, most famously, he would curse his gold. Have you ever asked yourself, "Why does a leprechaun put his gold at the end of a rainbow? Doesn't he want his riches for himself?" Yes. Most definitely. However, he does this on purpose. The leprechaun loves to see others in a tizzy, so he creates tizzies for other people to be in. Leprechauns curse their gold and purposely leave them out so that they could snicker at us if we ever found it. Leprechauns have always been wee men of mischief, but there's a reason you never see one in action. If you were to see a leprechaun and successfully catch him, you would get one wish. Be careful what you wish for, though, because he is very clever. For example, if you wish to win the lottery he will grant your wish, BUT you could lose that money very fast or even die the next day. Also, a leprechaun may ask for your name after you catch him. Do not give it to him whatever you do. If a leprechaun learns your name, then he may be attached to you. He will happily ruin your life and if successfully done you may even hear him laughing while your life crumbles.
    So, yes, leprechauns today are fun little creatures that cause mischief, but be wary, because finding a wee one like he could be more harm than fun for ye.

    He looks great! I think it would be cool to see how you might do a shape-shifting monster similar to “the thing.” Something formless but takes on the shapes of other creatures. There could be like a crab claw and lizard tail that becomes an octopus tentacle. The sky’s the limit. Maybe faces melting into each other.

    Great work as always and as a suggestion i would say maybe something more dynamic in general? Regardless of the product, i would love to see any sculpture in a more dynamic/moving/transforming pose (someone down below said a man transforming into a werewolf and i loved that idea! the "in the middle of an action" concept has so much potential, maybe a wizard in the mid of apparating (like in HP) or someone changing their skin (like the effect when mystique changing in x-men))

You edit well and use good music. I have my own original characters and this video helps me as your leprechaun has some features like the guys I draw. It's good to know that this clay can be baked more than once. I love the detail you did on the suit. He came to life when you added the beard.
