Messi was always the best dribbler and messi also had one of the best football iq his passing ability is among some of the best passers in football history. No one compared messi and ronaldo in dribbling or passing because everyone agreed messi was better at it. It was their goalscoring ability that was compared because they always scored similar amount of goals. One season messi was top scorer the next season Ronaldo is then again messi is top scorer then again Ronaldo is top scorer they had this back and forth of out scoring each other for 15+ years and that's the thing that people compared them on
