They are not even truly happy they just feel good! 🙂
True happiness is to know that you are doing the right things even if they are not easy to do often times.
      Jesus said:
,,There is more happiness in giving than there is in receiving.” (Acts 20:35)
      And:
,,Happy are those conscious of their spiritual need, since the Kingdom of the heavens belongs to them." (Matthew 5:3)

Hello, let me know how you doing now. The first week is rough, cold, heavy and dark, it is important to be kind to yourself and patience. Take it eazy if you have to (by that I mean take sick days and stay comfortably home). Im on day 9 now and I have to say that yesterday was the first day that I felt energetic and wasnt bombarded with cravings, good day. Today was more neutral/frustrating, but at least I know that good days will eventually happen. And that at least for me was something I could never reach with kratom, that stuff robbed me of emotions.

I really have to be locked up for at least............. 7 days! I need a "jump start". And when I do go to one of these treatment centers I will refuse all medications! Not even something at night to help me sleep! I really believe that you need to get it out of your system in order to start new. Without any help whatsoever. Kratom withdrawals never lasted me more than 3 days and I’d be completely normal on day 4, even after few years if daily use, though my dose was between 3-5 grams 3-4 times a day. The best thing that got me through was top shelf cannabis, sativa especially got rid of my withdrawals to the point that I completely forgot I was in withdrawals for 3 hrs before I started to feel them again. Also I took edibles (with cbd and cbn) black seed oil, phenibut ( be careful phenibut can become addictive if used for long period of time) and indica at night for sleep, all other sleeping herbs I tried barely or didn’t help at all. Gabapentin also helps. Megadosing vitamin c absolutely helped a lot! I took up to 3000 units of it everytime withdrawels were unbearable. Absolutely no stimulants, coffee would make withdrawals much worste! 1hr of direct sunlight also really helped as well as walks but I know it’s really difficult to do any exercise even walking when on withdrawals. Hot baths all day and finally binge watching some interesting anime or tv shows throughout the day made time fly. Hope this helped.

Never did it more than 4 days a week, and would always mix and match the days I’d take it, so I think that really saved my ass, although the dose got super high over the year. Day 2-3 I had physical wd, since day 4 it’s been that anodea or whatever you said. Really does make every single second seem to drag on, you really are just waiting to get through the days. By far is the hardest part about this. Currently on day 7 so I’m still not out of the woods at all. On a RUclips binge right now just to try and check out for a second because I can’t stand to try and do anything that puts me in the moment, the moment sucks. Weed helps a little bit but only so much, and you’re right there’s something strange with exercise, don’t know exactly what feels better but it makes me feel just a little less like a piece of shit, which helps. This video has been the most enjoyable thing for me today, helps to feel understood like this. Thanks m8
EDIT: 3 weeks in, mentally feel way better now. I’m not going to lie and say I found all this hidden energy..I’ll even be brutally honest and say life is boring, but it always was. Really glad to be out of the first 2 weeks..mentally it was hell.

Today was day one for me. God dammit it was the longest day of my life. My experience has been restless leg and boredom. Feeling uncomfortable in my skin and my skin sweats and is cold. Very very uncomfortable. I’m coming from very high dosages throughout the day. I’m starting this journey and no one knows I even took kratom except for one person. I told him and told him I need him now more than ever. It was funny. One day I just thought to myself, I got a fuckin problem. Never had I ever though that before. But the last year something hasn’t been right with myself. Idk man. I’m scared. I’ve been through hell in my lifetime, and the truth is the fear I have of withdrawing is extreme for me. I’d happily go back overseas to avoid it if I could. I’m not one to be afraid of pain or dying, really anything, but this, this terrifies me. If you are starting this journey or have went through it. Let me know. Keep in touch. I think kratom can be very beneficial in moderation, unfortunately some of us take it overboard. Wish you guys all the best. Remember, your the power here. Overcome. Existential boredom from WD is what most commonly makes me relapse, it is so rough.. nothing feels worth a while and time is frustrating like you said! and the chills nonstop are probably the worst for me, thankfully it subsides only after like 4 days. Insomnia can be a nightmare, but honestly if I manage to sleep for 4 hours I feel MUCH more "rested" than sleeping 10 hours on a kratom nod-off slump. It is definitely worth the pain to cleanse your body from kratom brother! No matter what justification someone might have for keep using kratom, it is weight on your body no doubt. Not as a long term solution anyway... Staying sober is the best teacher of life, remember that!
Also man the lower back pain everytime I laid down for more than 30 minutes, burning tense pain like 7.5/10. I had the same lower back pain when I had covid.

For some people it traps them and this problem cannot be ignored imo. But yeah take good care about your body and mind, that is the most important, whether you use or not use.

I dont agree with that. Its not even close. When I had to quit pain killers that was the hardest thing I ever did. Kratom is closer to coffee and thats just a fact. Working with kratom daily and with all sorts of people nobody has ever told me stopping kratom is as hard as quitting opiates are heroin. The biggest problem is people make it a bad thing. When you fill guilty about doing something it makes it harder to quit and you will notice withdraw more. Just stay busy and eat better and take vitamins especially vitamin d3 which is a huge one that most people need more of

@@maxhill6424 ,.. without it, just being able to go to work is hard but being productive at work is really really hard. I understand believe me. My best advice is have a plan in advance to quit. Pick a date when you can take a week or more off work or when you have vacation time. The day you stop, just stay in bed for the first 5 days and just tell people you have the flu. Since you will most likely have flu like symptoms for a few days, nobody will think twice. After 5-7 days, you should start feeling a little better each day that passes. After about 10-14 days in total, you should be able to function normally (work, gym, etc) but you’re gonna still feel a bit off and depressed and for a bit.
It sucks dude, I’m not gonna lie. But when the negative feelings start going away, happiness returns and you start feeling like yourself again, it’s like wow. It just takes time with no relapse otherwise you gotta deal with misery of withdrawals all over again.

What a video! Awesome stuff on here. I jumped ship and did the cold turkey thing in July of this year and the struggle was real for 30 days. I thought that I’d NEVER be without a substance of sorts. I counted myself fully clean because I stopped the hard stuff years ago but k had its claws on me. I needed it to function and that there is a big problem. I started thinking, “what if one day I need to be put under for some crazy surgery but they can’t figure out a dose because of my tolerance on this stuff?” “How will I ever get a colonoscopy when I’m older if I can’t go 4-5 hours without this stuff but you have to fast for two days before this type of procedure? Also, how will I clean out my system in two days when k clogs me up?” I mean, these were serious questions bogging me down during my use. I just knew I couldn’t continue because the cons were outweighing the pros. If k works for you and you see benefits to your use then kudos to you. I’m not one to preach and tell peeps there’s only one way. For me, it was time and I wake up and go to sleep without the k cloud over me. A new “normal” is attainable but you have to work at finding out what that is. Find the warrior spirit within you and venture into the forest of self discovery. You might be pleasantly surprised at what you find.

"“what if one day I need to be put under for some crazy surgery but they can’t figure out a dose because of my tolerance on this stuff?"
That's a CONSTANT fear of mine as well - and it's also the main reason I'll never take an antidepressant or an anti psychotic - or anything like that. I won't take ANYTHING that causes 9 months to two years of withdrawal. There's always a real possibility that eventually we'll get separated from our precious kratom and will have to experience whatever the thing is stone cold sober and in absolute misery.
For me - I worry about SHTF (SH** hits the fan) and being that America is on the verge of total collapse and a potential civil war (call me crazy but i genuinely believe that could happen) - It becomes something to definitely consider cautiously.
I know so many people on benzos - and I always subtly ask them - "what if some apocalyptic walking dead type sh** happens and you have to live in the woods?" and the fear on their face becomes immediately evident and palpable.
And YES - every drug eventually reveals its true nature - a liar. Every drug that makes you happy during the honey moon phase will eventually turn on you and chip away at bits of your soul. Especially suboxone. If you go on reddit and read about people that are considering quitting suboxone? they all sound like an emotionless wreck.
"A new “normal” is attainable but you have to work at finding out what that is. "
One thing I forgot to mention - (and i'm deeply considering making a quitting kratom guide pt. 2) is the fact that you have to change your whole life - which is deeply uncomfortable and difficult. For me? RUclips is a huge trigger. I waste so much time on this dumb site and it persistently makes me cynical and depressed. That's one of the reasons rehab is so recommendable is because you're in a new environment - seperated from the outside world - and re-learn to live your life from scratch. It sounds farfetched - (because i've never been to a rehab that had solely kratom addicts) but I'm beginning to believe that rehab is one of the best ways to approach ANY withdrawal (and trust me - i personally can't do it - I've ran out of every rehab I've ever been to after a week. Mainly due to my crippling social anxiety issues - but i still always relapse so I always leave rehabs or 50/50 reasons. Cravings and the want to escape constantly being around a bunch of other miserable people withdrawaling. ugh.
So - sorry for the essay - A lot of your alls comments are super engaging and get me thinking.
So thanks! wish you the best man and I truly believe you can do it if you approach it with positivity and bravery.
      Hope this helps!

This made my detox so much more tolerable. I was on methadone for 9 years and made it through that long, drawn out, intense detox by doing these things. Any opiate detox including kratom will be so much more tolerable if u force yourself to do these things and give your body the serotonin and dopamine hits that it needs to push through the current struggle your body is enduring. Low dose benzo for the first week, gabapentin and magnesium at night for restless legs, clonodine every 6 hours to lower blood pressure and help with anxiety and sleep, up no later than 7am every day, no naps, tons of water, and a good vitamin b complex. The "3 days of flu" theory that floated around message boards in the mid 2010's lead a lot of people to falsely get into something that they bit off more than they can chew.
Talking about kratom withdrawal - also - makes me nervous - because I believe every drug should be fully legal and accessible. The fact that American's fought back and beat the DEA was one of the most victorious times I can personally remember in my short life that have anything to do with activism/liberty.
When I get these comments (and i may be wrong) - I always suspect that the commenter is annoyed that withdrawal is discussed online - out of fear that kratom will be made illegal. And that fear is absolutely valid. So - I kinda regret not voicing my opinion on how it should NEVER be scheduled in this video. That's one part I forgot. Dang.

When I started in 2016 I remember blindly believing that it had zero negative effects on health - but now? i'm reading more and more how bad it is for health and kidneys - and your hair starts falling out (I have patches of hair missing but every time I quit my hair fully grows back)

ive WD BAD from all sorts of potent opiates and im telling you the worst part of WDing is from the insomnia. i can deal with everything else! nothing has ever bothered me more than the insomnia! and thats the thing that really starts to break me down! it messes with your mood with your confidence, you start to really have some low moments! suicidal thoughts, depression, anxiety. its horrible. every time ive WD i always had the worst of it come at night once i get up from my bed in the morning i feel so much better! honestly sleeping pills can make WD much worse! ive never had good come from taking sleeping pills. with kratom all you have to do to avoid WDs is taper. i really dont get much WDs from kratom especially if i taper. you could totally taper off of kratom in a week and im telling you by the end of the week if you do a taper your good! ive went from 50grams a day all the way down to just 8 grams and then to 6 grams. and then i stopped taking it in the morning and only dosed 4gs at night and a couple days taking it only at night your FREE from WDs. ive done this a total of 6 times and each time ive kept the regiment and its worked

Could you be more specific please man? like how many days did you drop everyday from say 15gpd cause that is where i am at now? Please man i need to taper fast cause there are people pushing me to quit Ct This week or early next week and i don't have time for a long taper? Please man first time doing a ct from anything cause i always tapered.

    • @cloutfiendahh

@@ghostofme7277 15gpd is really low and i assume it will be much easier for you then it was for me i was taking 40-50gpd at the time i started! you could taper in as little as 5 days to 10 days. make yourself a plan. lets start with day 1. on day one start by only taking 13gpd. do that for 2 days. on day 3 lower it to 10gpd, stay there for also 2 days, on day 5 lower it to 8gpdand stay there for another 2 day. on day 7 lower it to 6gpd. when you get here to only 6gpd im telling you becomes so easy. and at this point you can start to skip 1 dose. it may seem hard to do this and you might get discomfort and lethargic but keep your doses for the most important times of the day like in the morning and at night right before bed. the most important dose of the day for me while tapering was the night time dose so i skipped the middle of the dose. do ths also for 2-3 days and on day 9-10 skip the morning dose or you can choose to lower your doses 4gpd. i suggest you keep the night time dose for sure thos because insomnia will destroy your plan. you can opt to take 50mg of benadryl (which helped me a lot for sleep) when you get to 4gpd you could most likely stop all together with very minimal WDs. when you get to the point of only taking the night time dose it will be so f'n easy to stop. at this point i didnt even have 1 WD. this is just my example of what i would do. you can change it if you want to make it more rapid taper or a slower one. i always opt for the slower taper just because your body will become a costumed to lower gpd with less discomfort. what i noticed is that the first day-2days of dropping your dose will have some discomfort but after that day your body gets use to only taking that tapered dose. just remeber that while you get a little discomfort it wont last forever and you will have your nighttime dose to give you some much needed comfort and some rejuvenating sleep. it is so mcuh easier to taper then it is to quit cold turkey

Quitting Kratom is relatively easy. Staying off is hard. Made it like 18 days before I got bored and picked some up. I have all the supplements and about 100g of hirsuta I’m gonna use till it runs out in a week or so and hopefully get away with no wd. I am a weed guy so I’ll smoke myself to sleep if need be.

Rehab doesn’t need repeat customers. There’s enough addicts out there to keep them going. Plus 70-80 % of addicts in rehab will relapse. My relapse was weed and kratom. Got off the dope and everything just to build up a kratom addiction a year after rehab. There was actually a guy in rehab there for kratom. He was taking 100g a day he said . Currently tapering and switching strainso kick it.

Ahh that’s why I had those disgusting disturbing nightmares… like the one about my ex who is grows marijuana and we were on the road staying in this motel and we get a bang bang bang on the door in the middle of the night and find it to be the authorities and he tells me he like tore the lock of the door or something and redid it so no one could bust in, then him telling me that he’s probably going to get locked up and me just being stranded there thousands of miles away from home meanwhile he looks like he’s on some sort of drug that really messed him up….Or the one where this random girl had defecated buckets worth of sh*t

That is wild and lucky you did not get anxiety as I find kratom anxiety worse than any other opiate and I have have kicked the worst of the worst such as zenes, fent analogues, RC opiates, etc all IV. Kratom has me yelling into pillows with my bones itching with anxiety. Etizolam helps for sure and it is cheap AF online.

The worst thing about drugs is withdrawing. Even worse when you know you are and know you can fix it with a drug.
For example if I was withdrawing on something and never experienced it before, I’d just think I got the flu. But knowing is the worst part.

Be careful with Gabapentin. I'm sober off of alcohol for 4 years. In early recovery this time around, I was prescribed Gabapentin to help with the symptoms of alcohol withdrawal. I did not take rhe Gabapentin as prescribed, and got myself to a point where I would have uncontrollable shakes/tremors. Getting off of Gabapentin was really terrible, and I had no idea what I was getting myself into when I started taking them.

This guy obviously has a drug issue. Very accurate, and funny. Try setting at home in withdrawal and having Suboxone, Bennzo's, access to any drug whatsoever. And still just pushing through the withdrawal. Currently have Kratom, Suboxone, Benzo's and anything else very close by. I keep fentanyl as far as i can away!
