Imagine badges for that like Trash talker, Intimidator, Mr. cool and Stoic that would affect how you and your opponents would play in career mode. For example, a trash talker could get under opponents’ skin and make cold streaks more likely for them but sometimes the player will get warned and then called for technicals if they are used the ability too much.
Imagine if they carried over to park. Like if you hit a contested three on someone and celebrated and it lowers their defensive ratings and vice versa.
I could see the quiet guy personality working like you get less respect for talking to players but you gain more respect through playing well. As if you let your play speak for you.

I could do without 99% of all animations and have 2k feel more loose and free. It's not hard at all. I would love 2k if it felt even a little realistic. 6'0" shooter builds making layups on 7 footers because of a specific layup package. Gone. 6'8" finisher getting blocked by a non defensive build. Gone. Shooters making every contest on defensive builds. Gone. People relying on animations to bail them out from bad decisions. Gone. 2k22 is horrible in terms of animations. Worst 2k ever in those terms. The best bet is to remove player clipping. Any contact should turn into a foul or a block/missed shot. There are times where you can smack the ball and your hand just goes through it. I promise the community could improve the game if given priority.

Also, tendencies only affect CPU controlled players.
59. Press Conference Questions/Answers...that has been a big thing for me for years. It's cool that you get asked questions after you've played a few games, it's so predictable. You'll score 50 points in a game but the reporter will be like "so, you've been named rookie of the week, isn't that great?"

One thing I found weird that they took out of 2k19 was you can choose where your character is from, and you should have a choice to have the countries flag implemented somehow, also bring back custom my courts

Do the vote during the playoffs, take the 16 teams that make the post season from game 1 of the first playoff series to the final game 7 of each round fans vote. To make sure the same players dont get the cover again they could have it so the same player cant be picked for at least 5 years. Also A FUCKING OFFLINE MY CAREER mode with rookie difficulty. Hell 2k15 but with current updates. Let me play the way i wanna play with max sliders. I dont want to play online i wanna play offline. Don’t get me started on the switch version.

So if you pressed the wrong button, your player would try to lay it in from the 3 point line. Also, that game had classic arenas, some that didn't have a 3 point line. And the rules changed with those arenas! I remember taking a 30 footer and it only counting for 2 points.
I think they need to add a pre game/arena area. Before a game you should be able to walk around the arena similar to the wwe superstar mode, and choose what you do. Visit the trainer, take a nap, get some shots up, chill out. Each one will affect how you play by raising it lowering certain stats. For example, if you take a nap, your stamina/durability would be higher since you are well rested. Also, you will only have so much to choose from before the game. Maybe each one takes a specific amount of time. For example, a pre game workout is maybe 45 minutes to an hour. Visiting the trainer can be 15-30 minutes. They would also have little events that can happen around the arena such as meeting fans or meeting the owner. This would add another level of depth to the game.
At most that may do 1 thing that's in this vid because most things games that make so much money with frequent releases can do the bare minimum and still bring in millions of players consistently. No incentive to improve the game just to benefit the players
Please send this to 2k and make sure they watch it. This needs to get around and people need to see this. I also would like a punching option in mycareer or in every gamemode for when you get aggravated at a player for dunking on you or doing a celebration on you.
Sprint animation definitely needs to change. Gotta be realistic. The court is small, Russell Westbrook and Giannis shouldn’t look like they are trying to sprint at their max speed while exhausted but they are actually running at 10 mph when their speed is above 90
With the new NBA era mode they would really have to bring back the illegal defense rule for it to make sense especially for the Jordan and Magic era because part of the reason why the players in those eras were so dominant was because of the fact that defenses would either have to commit to doubling them and leave someone open or risk their defender getting cooked. It would also put a way higher emphasis on defense cause you wouldn’t be able to just sit back in a zone and have your team bail you out you would be an actual liability.
Another suggestion: They should have similar current gen and next gen features. Like for example, the 3 point contest. Next Gen has deep zone while Current Gen doesn't.

Another important thing: Don't make the games become useless after 2 years just because they shut down the servers, it's the scummiest way of getting you to buy the new games. I understand the online things have to be turned off, but you can't even play the 2k19 and 2k20 MyCareer story with cutscenes, despite those things being 100% offline. I'm buying a full game, not renting it for 2 years then just be stuck with a demo.
I know this is an older video, but if one company owns 2k and Gta. Would it make sense to implement both games and turn them into a basketball career simulation? This would work for players like Ja Morant, who is not just a shooter on the court; being responsible for media, schedule, working out, etc... would be so cool. Also, adding your "brand," I hate going through a 2k season and not talking with sponsors because of 2k glitches. Also, now that Ai is being implemented in many things, it would be wise for the game to implement this and have NPCs respond to custom phrases you say in the game.

I don't care what the city looks like. Make it small and have minimal impact on performance and lag. I want an option to play 3s like it's park without having to find a game. I feel like simulating something like that would be crazy seeing unfamiliar faces competing, and then for the off-season to have NBA players who’ve always been the number 2 or 3 option to go over seas and thrive as a leader. I know i don’t speak for a lot of people since my league is underrated but having something like this would be entertaining as hell. Also having the ability to make more custom jerseys instead of the base home, away, and alt jersey wouldn’t be the craziest thing but I’d love to see it. Another important thing: Don't make the games become useless after 2 years just because they shut down the servers, it's the scummiest way of getting you to buy the new games. I understand the online things have to be turned off, but you can't even play the 2k19 and 2k20 MyCareer story with cutscenes, despite those things being 100% offline. I'm buying a full game, not renting it for 2 years then just be stuck with a demo.
I know this is an older video, but if one company owns 2k and Gta. Would it make sense to implement both games and turn them into a basketball career simulation? This would work for players like Ja Morant, who is not just a shooter on the court; being responsible for media, schedule, working out, etc... would be so cool. Also, adding your "brand," I hate going through a 2k season and not talking with sponsors because of 2k glitches. Also, now that Ai is being implemented in many things, it would be wise for the game to implement this and have NPCs respond to custom phrases you say in the game.

(42) PLEASE 2K. We like your game because it's a game. Every unskippable cutscene (the ones listed+many more) and the city layout in general feels like a waste of time. I'm here to play the game, looking cool while I do it is important, but everything mandatory in mycareer that isn't me on a court playing basketball feels completely unnecessary and played out for me as I've played the game every year, and spend money on VC anyways. I don't care what the city looks like. Make it small and have minimal impact on performance and lag. I want an option to play 3s like it's park without having to find a game. Give me any game that's close in ovr of teams. You can do the same with 2s. The game looks good, but we really don't need all the silliness.

Remember when they had some euro league teams in 2k, what if they just had a mode in my league or my gm where they just go apeshit and have the NBA and a load of overseas teams in the same league? I feel like simulating something like that would be crazy seeing unfamiliar faces competing, and then for the off-season to have NBA players who’ve always been the number 2 or 3 option to go over seas and thrive as a leader. I know i don’t speak for a lot of people since my league is underrated but having something like this would be entertaining as hell.
Also having the ability to make more custom jerseys instead of the base home, away, and alt jersey wouldn’t be the craziest thing but I’d love to see it. Like seriously what nba team only has 3 jerseys now iirc they at least have 4 and teams like the lakers and raptors have like 5 or 6.

also in mynba if you remove some teams at the start, for example, you go down to 12 teams u can only add 6 expansion teams still, but it should let you go all the way back up to 36

I play a lot of myleague and I think it would be very easy to do but really impactful if they could add elite contact dunks, between the legs dunks, self alleys off the ground. They already have these things in my career and myteam so why not add them in myleague. It would be really fun to do between the legs dunks in nba games

Yeah these video game companies just release game after game cause they know people will return no matter what. It would be way better if they had a hub game then just update it each year then you would get a more loyal fan base than next decade/ when people stop playing the game release a new one. And probably ad DLC where we can get more exclusive content like meeting our old my player and maybe teaming up in the league.

i'd like to have an arcade mode so we could park tricks and dunks in play now so they aren't locked behind the park or the all star games. that locks a good portion of the game and it sucks a lot
