Bus Yun Hi is my all-time favorite. It's such a deep, elegant, and masterly created song. Please Mr.Mughal start creating music, as I really want Bus Yun Hi on Spotify. Once again, thank you for creating gems of track.
Its so nice to see Shehzad Mughal after such a long time. Now also try to include 2 other missing members of their Final Cut Band on the show as well, namely Azam and Nadeem Zaki
Wow, learning so much about our music history through these podcasts. but at a same time very sad to see musicians problems staying same through all these years
awesome to watch and hear the insights from schehzad mughal. brought so many childhood memories! this man is still so charismatic! lovely podcast. enjoyed every bit of it.. hats off to the team for arranging such a detailed interview. keep it up guys!
1.Bhoolay na kabhi 2. Ye to phir bus I still remember these solos being released in 90s on NTM and being on Top 10 charts for several weeks I still go back and listen to these songs.
Aleph, this was a good one, Shehzad Mughal has left deep imprints in Pakistani pop industry, and after this podcast, i got to know that how nice and a gem of a person Shehzad is. Really enjoyed this podcast.
umair or Shahzad Bhai who ever would read it. it's a long interview I listened it in several intervals. during which there were times when I paused searched for arsh song Shahzad mughal songs to recall details and appreciated more. during this I listened taron bhari Raat as well and though man this acoustic riff was so iconic that I still remember that even at that time I wasn't guitarist etc. must have some thing in it that I clearly remember. kaash Shahzad mughal ye song as interview intro Baja detay . .. right now I am finishing off listening to interview? and bingo Shahzad Bhai is playing that riff on acoustic.
Wow! I feel Shehzad was always very underrated. Probably because of his own shy nature . Thank you for this . Make him record that unplugged album please .
great podcast, love his songs bus yunhi and bhooley na kabhi. The acoustic version of yunhi was awesome, please upload it separately as well so we can listen to it
shahzad bhai the great!!! thoroughly enjoyed this amazing conversation. I'm baffled by the fact that shehzad bhai is so soul deep. What a thought provoking conversation.
Kudos to A for Aleph for revealing so many gems hidden under the dust of time! 🤠 Shehzad Mughal was a class apart. He carved out his own niche, and was respected for his craft and musical genius, which was not just ahead of the times, but also stands fresh till date! It was a treat to listen to him after decades! Bas Yunhi is an all time favourite and still heard on a loop non stop! Looking forward to his new music and hoping it revives our Pakistani musical Potpourri! P.S: it was really painful to see you in pain for so long(!) as the ruffled sound quality distracted a lot! But appreciate that you carried the interview through, nonetheless!
01:50:00 Agreed. The base and arrangement was futuristic. I always think about this point whenever I listen to "Bhoolay na Kabhi" song now in 2024. At that time, bands didn't have that quality in music production.
Shehzad bhai ka new song kab aa raha hai ya new album kab shuru karen gay? Faasley aur taaron bhari raat ki tarha bas yunhi song bhi fantastic rahay ab isi tarha k songs ki umeed hai k shuru karen anxiously waiting love from Rawalpindi
Also try to bring another ace underrated guitarist of 90s namely Fawad Baluch on the show. He used to play Guitars in a very peculiar and fast style and was left hand guitarist with band Dhun. Then he suddenly disappeared
Thanks for the clarification mate - I follow your podcast and I really admire the work you do ! But after watching your recent podcast I've been a little disappointed for the following reasons: Your guest claims he reviewed a contract (which is a legal document) and I don't think he is a qualified lawyer so i want to understand how he assessed the document. I've seen him play the guitar on your podcast and I don't think rhythm playing makes your fingers bleed. Legatos do but I don't think he is a legato player He also claims that he learned all of the chords in one week which is incredible, I want to know what brand of almonds he introduced into his diet. Please ask him to share the details. He comes across as a big scholar on religion, can you please share his qualifications on the subject Mate your podcast is really good but I think you need to be a bit tough on certain characters. It's fine he didn't give much credit to Adnan but if you listen to that album, Adnan's work come across much stronger than his voice. Love your work mate ! But I think you should pose some challenge to these musicians who claim to know everything
Thank you for the kind words on the podcast and the feedback! Btw I saw Schehzad Bhai pick up one of my electric guitars and let me tell you, he certainly has some legato chops - a lot more than I do at any rate! I was surprised as I have not seen that side of his abilities. So perhaps you have not either :) As for the legal document argument - I too am not a lawyer but I’ve seen and reviewed enough legal documents in my life to know my way around them, perhaps Schehzad bhai has too - I don’t know the details. As for being more tough on certain artists, I do take your point - if you see my activity outside of this podcast, one could say I am maybe a bit too tough on many at most times. For me the podcast is more about giving each of the respective artists the chance to share their own perspective, vs me trying to impose mine or someone else’s upon them. Btw I also have very strong views on religion and spirituality which I share openly across my personal social media platforms - I don’t believe I need to be a scholar to do that. I believe that is part and parcel of being an artist, to be open with your expression, while being humble enough to admit that one may be wrong; which Schehzad Bhai clearly states that he is not trying to preach to anyone and is just sharing his personal perspective that he has developed over the years.
