Didcot Railway Centre 2-6-2 Event Take 2

    Didcot Railway Centre held a 2-6-2 event on the 20th - 22nd of September, which for me was a interesting concept, I do like my Prairies.
    This also appealed to me, as two Ivatt Tanks would be in attendance, 41312, my favourite locomotive and 41241, the red Ivatt which would mark my second and arguably better view of it following it's appearance at Blaenavon.
    The two visitors certainly put on a good performance reminding me exactly why I had such a fondness for the 2MTs, loud barks from both, rivalling that of Didcots own loud Prairie No. 4144, was certainly interesting to see a different perspective of it on the demonstration line, backwards rather than forwards. Was rather nice to see Trojan doing the job it was most likely designed to do, representing the shunters quire nicely.

    10:20 just a bit of a family arguing all because 41241 has a red coat of paint and the other one was jellos

    nothing to do with 41312's handbrake... the engine was just being a moody little sh*t... listen to 41241. "You pain in the a**...why must you do this? how embarrassing!" 🤣

    10.10 if your loco is struggling whilst doubleheading 2 coaches think why that might be. Don't just ram it onto the second valve to make it go. I have a feeling the brakes were on 41312 as you could see the drivers moving for a second and then they stopped. That shouldnt happen, its how accidents are caused and the damage costs need to be taken into consideration.
    Apart from the negative of Didcot, a very good video!
