As a person who know's next to nothing about all these things I"m blown away in what I'm hearing. I was diagnosed with Secondary Progressive MS back in 1993 or so thru the VA. What they had said was I'd be in a wheelchair in 6 years and dead in 10 years. Well, here it is 2016 and I'm still kicking! In 2005 I found nutriceuticals made through Albion labs. sold through EcoQest and that started to turn me around. a little. Switched over to Core Health Products and kept on keeping on. Actually, the turn around was slow but steady. Then adding these next products a couple of years ago I found Nutrigenomics with LifeVantage. Protandim! Then, alkaline ionized water. Mixing them all together is amazing in what this is able to do, along with eating fresher, losing weight, and trying to not stress as much. PTSD.......... Sucks.
You see my little avatar hat with the site on it, if you want to get ahold of me, that would be the way as all the contact info is there for me.

So happy to hear the VA keeps it so positive 😡
I'm interested to hear about the alkalized water you drink? Also....wondering if you've ever heard of Terry Wahls? M.D. that fully believed in the scientific method & pharmaceuticals but then she got MS. Took her some time but becomming worse on drugs to the point she was in a reclining wheelchair, she used her scientific method and completely reversed her MS. Published her findings and wrote a book to help others: Wahls Protocol.

Great presentation. Let's hypothetically assume that someone is already living a healthy life style (i.e. getting all the required nutrients, plenty of exercise, good stress management and so on). Would it still be useful to perform a lab test for certain polymorphisms in order to adjust certain things?

I am concerned about oxolates due to lab results. Is a low oxolate diet affective and important to implement in your opinion, and do you advise any of your patients to eliminate high oxolate foods such as spinach? Does Genova Diagnostics test for oxolates?
