Måneskin (Italian: [ˈmɔːneskin, ˈmaː-], Danish: [ˈmɔːnəˌsge̝nˀ]; Danish for 'moonlight') is an Italian rock band formed in Rome in 2016. The group's line-up consists of vocalist Damiano David, bassist Victoria de Angelis, guitarist Thomas Raggi and drummer Ethan Torchio. Performing in the streets in their early days, the band rose to prominence after finishing second in the eleventh season of the Italian talent show X Factor in 2017. Their international breakthrough ensued when the foursome won the Eurovision Song Contest 2021 for Italy with the song "Zitti e buoni".
The band have released two studio albums Il ballo della vita (2018) and Teatro d'ira: Vol. I (2021), one extended-play, and nine singles, which have topped the Italian and European music charts on various occasions, and collected 28 platinum and 5 gold certifications from FIMI (Federation of the Italian Music Industry), selling over one million records in Italy before their post-Eurovision breakthrough.In 2021, Måneskin became the first Italian band to reach top 10 on the UK Singles Chart, with their songs "Zitti e buoni", "I Wanna Be Your Slave" and cover of The Four Seasons's "Beggin'" reaching the top 10 on the Billboard Global 200 Excl. U.S. chart, collecting multiple international recording certifications, including two silver by the BPI and one gold by the RIAA.

Ho suonato e studiato molto la musica rock, ora per problemi di disabilità non suono più, ma ascolto molto la musica rock tradotta, è un piacere ascoltare i Maneskin, credo che la storia della loro musica sarà a rock am ring. Da uno che ascolta molto rock mi sarebbe piaciuto molto un nome italiano, sarebbe stato immenso.

As you can see Damiano loves very much the tattoos, he started when he was 18 yo 'cause his parents didn't want. In a clip you can see him tattoing his right leg by himself.

I don't like tatoos. I came to like Damiano's "Ballo Della Vita" tattoo, but I don't want any more. I wish Vic wore a shirt. Thomas would have looked better with pants and the pink half pants on Damiano were weird. That's just my opinion.

Non avevate una impronta rock, si nota le molte influenze musicali contrastanti. Damiano di sta adattando al rock perché non mi sembra un vocalist prettamente rock n' rulla. Lo si deve al chitarrista la vena rokkettara, anche la bassista ambigua sé vdecisa che la strada è quella da seguire.
Ormai è vero tutto ed il suo contrario, dal momento che il rock ed i suoi riff son stai rigirati come calzini, forse il loro sound è un po' scarno non avendo ne' una chitarra ritmica, ne' un tastierista che in certi momenti sostengano un po' meglio la voce di Damiano. Per me(litfibiano) comunque, mille volte meglio loro di rap/trap, DI FEDEZ/j-AX, di Casadei-rock(tra cossie e zanzare, laralla lalla'....) di "...IO NON FONO FOLO ANCHE QUANDO FONO FOLO..." e molto altro guano ritmato.
