Videos like yours have and are making impacts on people in the "West", disparaging some of the propaganda that has plagued people about Russia. I have been listening to you for a year now more or less, because you could be a friend of my family. You could be my younger brother, or my cousin… it doesn’t matter: you have become a friend that I like to watch live. It’s as if we had an everyday conversation and that makes me feel less alone… I have sons a little younger than you and they don’t have time to call me… they have nothing special to say and yet, they would talk to me about themselves, about the last meal they cooked or a movie they enjoyed… and no…. That’s why I follow you on RUclips, because you have become a member of my family… thank you merci du Québec!

Do you think it is just a Russian youtuber issue? Seems to me most youtubers of most nations or topics run into the same issue. Then they cater to the algorithm by making the same old stuff or resorting to clickbait titles. I try to do my part as a consumer by purposefully NOT clicking on obvious clickbait titles, or clicking away from the video as soon as I realize I’ve been bamboozled. Walking around the park video is “boring and demoralizing” 🤣 That made me laugh so much! Sam, cool stuff. And yes, please, make a video of that Soviet antique store you have found.
Remember sex sells... then again you clearly know that already. As a watcher of videos from around the world, it is about the topic and the personality of the person doing the video. I watch videos to learn about what life is like around the world but over time you learn what there is to learn then move on. If the person making the video has a great personality, I will watch their videos longer. Look at Russel from adventure with Russel. I have watched enough of his supermarket in Russia videos but he has a nice personality and once in a while shows something new. I watch yours because it shows a different aspect of Russia. I will likely be watching your videos for a little longer then stop... youtube is what it is. That said, it is easy to make an emotional investment in those who's videos you watch. It becomes like a soap opera, you have to tune in once in a while to see how they are doing. The more of what you say about your life without being a whiner, the more people will keep interested in your videos. Show more about your house, give us another update in how the work is going on it. You seem a nice of guy, just need to show what makes life interesting in Russia and in your life and people will tune in. BTW I have watched people building boats on youtube and when they needed a little help for this or that or someone had a spare this or that... people sent them money or the this or that to help them out. People being good hearted people.
if i was over there sam i could make you some sliding doors for your driveway just need a little more metal and some small wheels then you could get out safer but im stuck in the uk for another year or two
Greetings SAM ! As regards to your car exiting form your property safely, why not fix a stick on mirror 🪞 on the inside of each door so they face and reflect the road in each direction, you can even get directional brackets, you might even try a breakers yard for truck or Bus larger directional mirror's.🌬️✨✨✨🙏

You could purchase a translation device and apply for a job with a Russian media company to do videos. See if you can interview Ukrainian POWs in Russia. No one is covering that. Do interviews with other foreign expates in Russia.
That's actually choosing a niche. Eli doesn't really do comparison about Russia, she just do travels in Russia, that's the niche that she chose in it works. Sadly the reality is when you choose a niche you have to stick to it basically. Doing the same thing over and over again is boring I get it but that's the definition of a job. We're all doing it mate.
The problem is you don’t have a hot chick with you! That’s what guys want to watch unless they like Soviet Union style and what different things in Russia
Really she is doing great now! With her own channel! She must have FORGOTTEN YOUR HELP? MAYBE HAVE HER COME BACK AND SAY WATCH YOUR CHANNEL! HE GAVE ME MY START ON UTUBE ON A VIDEO OF YOURS!
Place a bubble mirror above the brickwork and then you'll be able to see if anybody is coming from both sides. That means you might need to one on one side and one on the other side of the opening .
Maybe a video about your struggles when you first moved to russia not knowing the language , I'm on day two here and figuring out how to use the washing machine it a challenge lol. Keep up the great videos
You justify its relevance or whatever from a view count. There is so many other factors, time of year cause in the winter people are inside and have alot more time in front of a screen, world events also affect views cause if russia wasnt in this war you would even be getting less views, youtubes finger in the scale...auto play is a huge feature and youtube shorts forces videos on people like chess i havent chosen a chess video once but my recommended and shorts is all chess. There is also probably 100 other factors....you cant go by view count...stay active and video things around your activity...go fishing....show a unique russian vehicle made for siberia....show a woodworkers setup and creations....you gotta talk to people and find unique things around you.
I suspect that most who approach RUclips (and other media outlets) as a job, end up disappointed. It's a bit like being a writer. Not many are able to get contracts to be a columnist or sign a book deal.
No, I don’t think we would get along because I had some issues with his content. I wish he didn’t keep telling people that is goal is to show real Russia outside of Moscow. He did an interview in a radio station in Prague. He said he was tired of foreign journalists who portray Russia as a place with alcoholics and bad infrastructure and his goal was to show the opposite! But isn’t that exactly what he shows? I’m fine with abandoned villages! But don’t pretend that you are just showing normal life outside the capital! And why always make friends with toothless alcoholics!
Build a garage for your car. It doesn't have to be the Taj Mahal. Install a pair of convex mirrors pointing both directions so you can see oncoming traffic.
I belive it has a lot to do with the personality of the RUclipsr. I watched Baklykov all the time livestreaming walking streets in different towns, nothing special happend but it was like I was walking there with him when he talked about the history of the town. Now he only goes around in his car and people pay him to play music. It became so boring, he became boring and I don't watch anymore. I love your channel because of your personality and you always stumble on something weird or scary or nice. Russells visits in different stores that looks almost alike but he is so good at it. I have more favorites like Nicki Positano showing their ordinary life in Italy, it it not very dramatic or unusual but I love her and her husbands personality.
Thanks to you Sam I resumed by Russian interest I used to have as a child. I am enjoying all the great Russian music and also started watching videos which are dispelling the propaganda by the West.
Do you have the ability to travel to other Oblasts, or do things like train traveling? Those seem to do well on RUclips. Also, maybe set up an account in, say Indonesia.
Why don't you ask your neighbor across the street if you can attach a concave safety mirror to his wall. Tell him you will attach one to your wall also, (the carrot) so that he can use it to see out of his drive.
I think when you realise you are in the wrong job, it's better to get out and use your other skills and enjoy life. After all, this work is only temporary.
I'm not sure I can put all of my thoughts on this in one comment, but I'll try. First - please, take this as a constructive criticism and not as hate or me not respecting your work. Because I love your channel and it's good for me. However, you should stop complaining that much. Why? Because, basically you're trying to play the victim card. And it's always a loser's perspective. Therefore, you should change a bit your mindset - to the perspective of a victor, not of a loser. Just ask yourself, if this is really interesting or useful to the audience - to listen long and long video of a 2 meters tall grown man, who does nothing else, than complaining. How is that good for the people or for you? You have a bit of a different perspective to the world, and that may naturally hinder your potential audience. So, you should ask yourself what path do you want to follow - one, that adheres strictly to what you like, the way you like it, but with probably limited audience. Or, if you are ready to listen to the people and make content for them - the one, that they'd like (I don't see anything wrong with that, honestly). If other youtubers are doing something and it gather success, maybe there are good and objective reasons for that. Approach the matter from such perspective and maybe you'll gain a lot of insight.
by the way I've watched in the past the video with the church and it was super interesting and enjoyable for me to watch. I've also enjoyed to the maximum of your video, where you were in Suzdal? (if I write it correctly) - with the castle and the horses , remember? That was a huge and good video. Another great video was, when you found in a small village 2 brothers I think, who had a shop for all kind of amazing stuff. Those people were something like collectors, but also sellers of interesting things.
I’m not complaining. As I said in the video, this applies to all foreign RUclipsrs in Russia and we are all in the exact same boat. I really don’t understand what my height has to do with this.
Could you partner with a Content producer outside of Russia, and both report on the same subject, But from different perspectives? You could report on the Russian perspective and state that? Your partner would have a different perspective. For an expat, your reporting is reasonably fair. One would think that would be less profitable than what most expats do. I thought most successful expats played up their new adopted country, and lamented the plight of residents in their old country. Thereby attracting disgruntled folks from the old country wanting to vent their spleen, and wanting to move to this new Shangri-La. Residents of the adopted country love it, you're patting them on the back, and telling them they're special. It's too bad you weren't from the states. The pool of disgruntled Americans is bottomless. lol.
@SamsRussianAdventures that's cold man. What I was trying say that none of your videos are boring, but listening to You pollute your brain with nonsense is not good. Now we gona take TWO shots of samogon for every time you've called yourself "English guy" You are Russian man!! Ima remember this comment 😁
You could try using an AI voice to narrate your videos. Like Brad Pitt, or, to get a laugh, Marylin Monroe or Daffy Duck. Or grow a goatee and dress up as Vladimir Lenin and see what kind of response you get.
Sam, do you have a discord channel by chance? I subscribed to your channel and I am 37, and I met a wonderful woman same age from Ulan Ude. We both fell in love and have hopes that I can travel to her and marry her in her town. We have a lot of worries because of sanctions and I have so many questions. Is there a way to message you directly? Please help us if you can. Any information and your knowledge would be so appreciated. I would also like to tell you our story of how we met. ❤
I have an idea, what is your education and background? Maybe make a series of videos based off your knowledge/experience and it's interaction with yjings you encounter in Russia.
Hey Sam, what you need is purpose in life. If we have purpose we can go to war and sacrifice our lives even, a lot of men do that btw as we speak. First sit down and shortlist your life, your strengths weaknesses likes dislikes vulnerabilities deal breakers goals etc... Then make an action plan, schedule events, then execute it without failing. Life is hard.
Everything looks run down and grim. Of course the weather doesn’t help. Then there are mitigating circumstances like the almost hundred years of sanctions. I know there are places in the west that are the same like Philadelphia. It’s not all like Beverly Hills

Trust me, a compare your city and similar UK won’t show Russia in a bad light. I think a lot of people might be shocked and you’re a Russian shill will be the main negative comments.
Walking around the park video is “boring and demoralizing” 🤣 That made me laugh so much! Sam, cool stuff. And yes, please, make a video of that Soviet antique store you have found.
I think Russia pulls many of Russian You Tuber strings !
It does for some channels
People being good hearted people.
if i was over there sam i could make you some sliding doors for your driveway just need a little more metal and some small wheels then you could get out safer but im stuck in the uk for another year or two
It’s not my house. I rent it.
Sam he can rent the small wheels. - (they generate a little turnover.)
Oh shit not another snow covered village with leaning ancient Dachas and blocks upon blocks of Sovietska/Kruschevska/Beschnevska apartments and sludge roads . Vasya in the Hay is interesting (not propagandistic) , so Sam bugger off home and wait for summer and get yourself a nice lady - after 20 years and not being able to woe a nice Russian lady is not good marketing !
Leave your wipers in the up position Sam to avoid them freezing to the windshield
You could purchase a translation device and apply for a job with a Russian media company to do videos. See if you can interview Ukrainian POWs in Russia. No one is covering that. Do interviews with other foreign expates in Russia.
I don’t understand about the translation device? Again, great content ideas but won’t pick up views

She’s a girl
@@SamsRussianAdventures you could identify as a girl 🤣
The problem is you don’t have a hot chick with you! That’s what guys want to watch unless they like Soviet Union style and what different things in Russia
Haha I made a video with a girl not long ago and it performed extremely badly
Really she is doing great now! With her own channel! She must have FORGOTTEN YOUR HELP? MAYBE HAVE HER COME BACK AND SAY WATCH YOUR CHANNEL! HE GAVE ME MY START ON UTUBE ON A VIDEO OF YOURS!
It can't be easy to continually produce content from the same area in Russia.. Vladimir isn't that interesting..
i like that building behind you @9:53
Place a bubble mirror above the brickwork and then you'll be able to see if anybody is coming from both sides.
I’ve researched every channel’s top videos and almost all are on the few topics that I mentioned in the video.

I suspect that most who approach RUclips (and other media outlets) as a job, end up disappointed. It's a bit like being a writer. Not many are able to get contracts to be a columnist or sign a book deal.
Go to Lasangue les for lunch Sam
Did you ever meet 'Bald and Bankrupt' when he was in Russia?
No, I don’t think we would get along because I had some issues with his content. I wish he didn’t keep telling people that is goal is to show real Russia outside of Moscow. He did an interview in a radio station in Prague. He said he was tired of foreign journalists who portray Russia as a place with alcoholics and bad infrastructure and his goal was to show the opposite! But isn’t that exactly what he shows?
I’m fine with abandoned villages! But don’t pretend that you are just showing normal life outside the capital! And why always make friends with toothless alcoholics!
I don't get that feeling with bald. He's always nice to people in russia.
@@dublinboy he is nice to them all over the world but he does go for the low lifes only pretty much
@ but he says that his goal is to show that Russia is a modern country. Do you think he does that?
yeah sam. why dont you call it bRoad russia
I often watch your videos but I do not know if my views are recorded. I usually watch them on an old, 2008, non- smart TV using a Roku device.
I doubt Roku records your RUclips views. You can't even get RUclips on new Roku devices or accounts. They had a falling out a couple of years ago.
Sam come to Colombia and make a video🤙
Thanks for the invite. I'm sure it's amazing there.
You should make a video about how you make money in Russia.
I’m a spy

Thanks to you Sam I resumed by Russian interest I used to have as a child. I am enjoying all the great Russian music and also started watching videos which are dispelling the propaganda by the West.
Sam, Put Large Mirrors in your driveway so you can see on coming traffic. Also get a car cover, it will make your life easier in the winter time.
Sam, where take a mokri, when must, and not be found out in such icy conditions?
Do you have the ability to travel to other Oblasts, or do things like train traveling? Those seem to do well on RUclips. Also, maybe set up an account in, say Indonesia.
I’ve done quite a few videos in other places and got an awful amount of views
Why don't you ask your neighbor across the street if you can attach a concave safety mirror to his wall. Tell him you will attach one to your wall also, (the carrot) so that he can use it to see out of his drive.
Sabbatical youtuber is real deal
Just like bald and bankrupt?
Isn't RUclips banned in Russia now? ...
Sam, i can't believe you own a Porsche BUT don't have a garage to park it in!???...
That's simply bonkers!! 😅😂

The secret is out. You're right.
I think when you realise you are in the wrong job, it's better to get out and use your other skills and enjoy life. After all, this work is only temporary.
so is life
Some bloggers have been fairly successful for many years.
Get yourself a drone; it will make your videos more interesting. It could even help you find things you are looking for.
They are not allowed to be used in Russia
Can you not get a curved mirror for outside your driveway?
The pool of disgruntled Americans is bottomless. lol.
No work free mon
These copycat channels are just annoying.
K mate, I tell you what is boring, listen to You keep saying that something is boring
Your mum didn't complain
@SamsRussianAdventures that's cold man. What I was trying say that none of your videos are boring, but listening to You pollute your brain with nonsense is not good. Now we gona take TWO shots of samogon for every time you've called yourself "English guy"
You are Russian man!!
Ima remember this comment 😁
You could try using an AI voice to narrate your videos. Like Brad Pitt, or, to get a laugh, Marylin Monroe or Daffy Duck. Or grow a goatee and dress up as Vladimir Lenin and see what kind of response you get.
Haha great ideas! We think alike!!! I love fun things like this!?
My purpose is to help others. I am a RUclipsr and I make content about Russia. I’m not lacking purpose!
@@SamsRussianAdventures Good Luck!
Everything looks run down and grim. Of course the weather doesn’t help. Then there are mitigating circumstances like the almost hundred years of sanctions. I know there are places in the west that are the same like Philadelphia. It’s not all like Beverly Hills

😂what a banderite
