These use cases are awesome. Can you pls make something on on premise to container migration? Like what are thr suitable candidates for containerization on cloud. How do we containerize apps, how much refactor effort goes into it and how refactoring/migrating to containers is different than migrating to VM on cloud?

how does the pricing model work on windows 2019 server? I didn't find the windows 2019 server option other than the windows server on the AWS calculator.
client dose not choose AWS provided image. In that case when client put the new image for a update - what happened to the EC2 machine - because EC2 has already setup of App server , xyz applications , Jenkins set up , SVN etc. Now if we re launch the ec2 instance for the new upgraded image - then my previous EC2 instances and its all running software will vanish ?

if I take any image of my instance that is of (ec2 instance) thn also it will show in MY AMI section, does that time also amazon charge only infrastructure cost or license cost also? Hope you get my point.. awaiting for your response.
Good point Abhinav. In that case, Amazon will charge from Infra & OS both as the base image was Amazon provided image.

Suppose i want to use m5.xlarge ubuntu16.04 instance type in our production server then what about the cost for os license. Is it really cost or we only pay the infrastructure cost?
For Ubuntu, there does not seem to be a license cost. check AWS calculator, and in the radio button - choose "LINUX"

Can you please share some Billing info for Marketplace AMI's, how it will charge, if you have any info. Thanks in Advance.
If you look at any marketplace image, it will have its billing rates specified there, which would include software license cost. try to look at any marketplace listing.
