- Today's hymn is "The Comforter Has Come".
One of my favorite titles for God the Holy Spirit. Especially as the death of Ravi Zacharias just happened yesterday and I think of his family and friends at this time. Reminded me of a text from scripture. "But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you." John 14:26
And also Matthew 5:4 " Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted."

What a beautiful hymn! I ran across the words in a pamphlet I'm reading about the Holy Spirit. This is the kind of song I didn't like as a kid in church, but now wish we sang more of as I'm middle aged.

How do you mean? Do some churches need simple piano and vocal recordings of hymns to sing to?
@@TheNCrewEliEli I believe we are going to lose our accompaniest to Alzheimer's. It's almost impossible to find someone (tho I haven't looked yet), and she was a volunteer. I've been using "special music" from RUclips - and I search for our hymns online, but often, the tune is a different arrangement, etc; but it occurred to me if I had someone who could record the song and sing it - just like you are doing - I could use that to lead our 2 hymns each Sunday. I could get the rest from YT for pre-and postludes, and any special music. As I looked at your work, I thought you were perfect. I have an idea how it would work, but would still have to run it past the worship team. Possibility?
