You never know when you will die. Some people think that worship is for when you come to old age (like the lecturer talked about) but we never know how much time we have left. We night never reach that old age. If we die before then, we might end up going to Hell just because we wanted to procrastinate our faith! This is not a risk to be taken. This life is short in comparison to the eternity we will live after. It's not worth it to skip out on the things like prayer (which when you think about it take very little time and effort). We should all try to be better Muslims. Let's choose Jannah over Dunyah!

If he is not saved from it, whatever comes after will be harder for him. I have never seen anything more frightening than the grave.”

• Hani' the freed slave of 'Uthman said:
When 'Uthman would stop at a grave he would cry until his beard was soaked (in tears). It was said to him: 'The Paradise and the Fire were mentioned and you did not cry, yet you cry because of this?' So he said: 'Indeed the Messenger of Allah said: "Indeed the grave is the first stage among the stages of the Hereafter. So if one is saved from it, then what comes after it is easier than it. And if one is not saved from it, then what comes after it is worse than it." And the Messenger of Allah said: "I have not seen any sight except that the grave is more horrible than it."
Grade: Hasan (Darussalam)
Reference : Jami` at-Tirmidhi 2308
• It was narrated from 'Aishah that:
a Jewish woman came to her and asked her to give her something, so 'Aishah gave her something, and she said: "May Allah protect you from the torment of the grave." 'Aishah said:" She made me worried, until the Messenger of Allah came and I mentioned that to him. He said: 'They are tormented in their graves with a torment that the animals hear."'
Grade: Sahih (Darussalam)
Reference : Sunan an-Nasa'i 2066
• Abu Sa’id al-Khudri narrates that the Messenger of Allah (Allah bless him & give him peace) said: “The grave is either a garden from the gardens of Paradise or a pit from the pits of Hell.” (Sunan Tirmidhi).

I know how terrible a pang if regret can be. Imagine how horrible regret would feel if the regret was not one single thing we did, but rather, the regret was how we spent out entire lives. And imagine how much that regret would hurt if it's consequence was eternal punishment 😢

We all know whats coming after death. But we live a life of immortality. We are all guilty of this, such as when we plan what job we will get after our studies or what car/house we want to buy when we get that promotion. Then we hear about someone our age who had all these dreams suddenly dies. Then we put it all into perspective for a few days and realise it could happen to anyone. But sadly after a few weeks we forget about death and just concentrate on the Dunya again. Lets all try to remember death every day in shaa Allah and ready ourselves for it because the scary thing is its coming!

Every human tongue will speak Arabic despite any language was spoken when soul is alive. Because al Quran was delivered by Allah through gibrael in arabic

Ibn ‘Abbas may Allaah be pleased with him narrated that the Prophet sallallaahu `alayhi wa sallam ( may Allaah exalt his mention ) said about the one who recites Surah Al-Mulk [Quran 67]: “It is the protector and the saver; it protects its reciter from the torment of the grave.” [Al-Tirmithi who graded it as Hasan]

Swearing is haram brother. It's vulgar language Allah does not like.
It's no issue. As long as it becomes a habit. Islam is not that difficult. We make it difficult by force. You can gradually give it up because it's better not to. Try to avoid it. Intention it is. But see where you do and say it. Peace and love to all.
