  • Virtuosa sets the path for another damage mechanic. We'll see operators designed around it, and maybe even a new defensive stat for enemies.
    That hasn't happened so far, and if things stay like this, Virtuosa still sets up a path, but for a new way to deal true damage.

    one thing to note is that she completely ignores ASPD debuffs because all of her Necrosis output is through her aura, which for higher end content is pretty valuable

    2:54 Kuma misspoke: Elites only need 1000 damage as well (as can be seen in the description at 2:46), making Necrosis damage pretty good against Elites who typically have higher DEF and RES.

  • @prd6617
    @prd6617 2 месяца назад +12

    other have mention on other vid, her "fixed" 12k damage are great against buffed enemies that have increase def and res but really bad against buffed hp.
    so on CC with risk that increase def and res she can bypass those but with increase hp she will have a hard time.

    virtuosa is probably one of the most unique units we've ever gotten, i love this new way of dealing damage
    i feel as though she's also kinda future-proof, at least until some other ritualist comes along with nervous impairment or corrosion and blows her out of the water...

    • @RewriteKuma
      @RewriteKuma  2 месяца назад +22

      I think the community will like a burn damage ritualist more when we get one, just because of the res debuff, even if the elemental DPS will be a bit lower, but it'll all depend on the payoffs we get, diamante and warmy are a promisse for the future

      @@RewriteKuma Even then, It might be the case that Virtuosa's style of true AoE on her _talent_ will probably secure her at least role well into the future, assuming that doesn't become standard. I personally expect it won't, and future six star ritualists will focus on inflicting it on hit like with Valarqvin.

    • @Ezekiel_Allium
      @Ezekiel_Allium 2 месяца назад +7

      @@FirasDuqarael I hate that that's absolutely going to be a thing honestly. Obviously elemental damage is a little over powered currently, but I just hate when they decide to nullify the niche of niche ops. Like everything being silence immune. There arent many ops that can inflict silence, and none of them are strong enough to be warrant being made near totally useless in 90% of situations. It's just a bummer.
      When they do go the route of elemental res, I hope they make it resistence to the fallout damage and not the elemental buildup. Otherwise they would actually just literally be nullifying any point in bringing elemental ops, who you would already be bringing mostly for fun since just nuking them with incredibly high damage per hit will never not be a a better option. Młynar go brrrrr etc

    Who is Virtuosa? For the blind, she is vision. For the hungry, she is the chef. For the thirsty, she is water. If Virtuosa thinks, I agree. If Virtuosa speaks, I'm listening. If Virtuosa has a million followers, I am one of them. If Virtuosa has ten followers, I am one of them. If Virtuosa has only one followers, that is me. If Virtuosa has no followers, I no longer exist. If the whole world is against Virtuosa, I am against the whole world. I will love Virtuosa until my very last breath

    As someone who didn't know the details of what burn entailed, but did read through Warmy's kit... isn't she like, actually kinda good? I'm surprised I haven't heard anything about her. The traits of burn combined with her kit seems actually pretty awesome. Unless the attack speed on her second skill is totally garbage, I guess.

    • @dindapriska
      @dindapriska 2 месяца назад

      What's garbage about Warmy's second skill isn't really the attack interval modifier, but the inability to trigger burn by herself. This is something apparent in primal caster archetype: other than their respective S1, primal casters can't trigger elemental fallout by themselves. They're meant to utilize the fallout.
      In Warmy's case, no burn Ritualist = no additional elemental damage on her S2

    • @Ezekiel_Allium
      @Ezekiel_Allium 2 месяца назад

      @@dindapriska I won't lie, I totally missed that. So she seems pretty good with the caveat that she needs a currently non-existent op to synergize with lmao. Feels like a burn ritualist should have came first anyways. HG are weirdos sometimes man.

    5:05 It doesnt buff her 1st talent. it buffs her 2nd talent so enemies take 50% more necrosis damage, NOT 25% of her atk as necrosis damage. ends up being similar but wanted to point that out

    • @Jaxter0987
      @Jaxter0987 2 месяца назад

      It does not end up being similar.
      548 * 2.8 = 1534 (Virtuosa's atk during s3)
      1534 * 0.25 * 1.2 = 460 (using the incorrect 25% of her attack as necrosis damage and 20% more necrosis damage)
      vs
      1534 * 0.10 * 1.5 = 230 (using the correct calculation, 10% attack and 50% more necrosis)
      That's 3 seconds to proc the Necrosis dot vs 5 seconds for non boss enemies and 5 seconds vs 10 seconds for boss enemies, a massive difference.
      And at 6:03 Kuma is also slightly off because there's no enemy that can take 3 procs of necrosis dot from s3 regardless of their HP because her skill duration just isn't long enough. Once you proc necrosis, the enemy can't take necrosis build up towards the next proc until the 15 second dot duration is over. Given her s3 lasts 40 seconds, the best possible case is 5 seconds to proc + 15 seconds of lockout before building up the next proc so 5 + 15 + 5 + 15 = 40 so only 2 procs from s3 for all enemies (bosses would be 10 + 15 + 10 and her s3 would time out while the second proc's dot is taking down).
