Could be your gearbox input shaft thats causing the bang when you change gear on the Defender. I hear theyre prone for going due to lack of internal lubrication.
I know there needs to be a bit of a return on investment but would be cool to see some restoration type content like buying a rough JD or piece of equipment and making it new again!
