That was brutal lol.
As correct as they were. Blizzard or the company that is optimizing the game for the switch has really improved it in recent updates. And all of the models actually load in somewhat normal time now. And it's actually playable, I hate playing on a controller though. So I would never be able to do it exclusively on the Switch, but whenever I am on the go and have my Switch and decent internet I whip it out and get at least 7 games in before it dies and it doesn't give me any issues in that time. The one drawback is that I can't use VC.
I did play on the Switch when Overwatch 2 First was released to test it out. And what Somnus experienced was a very real thing. I would have to fight the orbs where the players were if I wanted to fight anything. So I would just pick percy and use the healthbars on my teammates orbs to make sure I am able to contribute anything to the team. But it's definitely not that bad anymore, the worst of it now is dips below 20 FPS, which is remarkable compared to what I expected after testing it out on release. The game use to freeze regularly just from trying to load the models and textures...

English speaker should pronounce it with the e silent, that's how it usually works in the English language. And if you do pronounce it with the e, it's an "eh" sound. So don't say Porcha, "Porsh-uh" it's Porche, "Porsh-eh." In Europe it's normal to have the "uh" found effect in between words and whenever there is an E at the end depending on the language it's derived from. English acts a lot like French, and thus has a silent E when it's at the end like most french words. But regardless, if you try to listen to a Deutsche "German" person say Porche, they do say it with an "eh" sound. But the accent when put into the ears of Americans a lot of the time will be misunderstood for an "uh" sound, or like Porsha. Porcha/ Prosha are both female artists, so if you say "Porsha" than don't be surprised in the 1 in 1 million chance that someone thinks you're talking about the actor/ singer.
We here in America think we're always right, so keep pronouncing is Porsha and get upset about how other people use the language the way it's intended to all you want. But it's not them who is using it wrong...
English is pretty stupid a lot of the time tbh. But I've been speaking it for my whole life so it just makes sense to me. And these inconsistencies in the way people speak will throw someone like me off. And it just has to do with the way my brain works... People make pronunciation mistakes all the time, and you shouldn't feel bad about it. Just do what you can, language is just for ease of communication.
You put a lot here but honestly just Google it and you'll find out how to actually say it. Porsche pronounced in American English is properly said as por-shuh which will always make it sound like the e is present even though you aren't actually saying the e. British English should pronounce it paw-shuh, which will also sound like the e is being said. Now before anyone complains that it's google. Porsche it's self has also stated on their English websites how to say it which is the ways shown above.
Like in most other languages, the names of companies are considered loan words unless specifically translated by the company into English. Porsche does have an American-English translation for their name, so that is what's used. However, for other companies or events without a provided translation, their names are usually just whatever the original version is, and that includes names of cities too.
Or - and hear me out - pronounce the word properly instead.
It's a German word. It's a German company. It's a German family. Just because we pronounce something wrong doesn't make it "how it works."
Same goes for Adidas (though there's no getting that one back - Run DMC did too good a job imprinting the wrong pronunciation into our culture).
@@RLplusabunchofdumbnumbersi'd honestly rather you guys just pronounce it based on your language's rules. The "um acktually it's pronounced like this" crowd almost always doesn't even pronounce the foreign word right either. So honestly, just pronounce it like you're speaking English, because otherwise basically the entire English language would just be pronounced differently than it is right now since most of the language has loan words.
Oh the topic of that, the people who insist on pronouncing 1 character's name like how it would be pronounced in their native language, and then turn around and don't do the same for other characters. Like what are you trying to prove here? Just pronounce them like everyone else does.

I always heard people said the word Porsche as "Por - shay", my friends and family and everyone I met always say it like that, even the salesmen of the brand say it like that, so when I heard you guys said it without the "shay" at the end, I was so confused for a moment.
