This was created with very limited resources during the lockdown in Norway. The theatres in Bergen was closed down and they were allowed to use one and had access to the props store where they found the shell and feather-fans etc. used to make Aurora appear as the "goddess of love" (alluding to "the birth of Venus" by Botticelli, 1480s painting). The dress she's wearing was made by herself and everybody had to observe the "1 yard rule". She's a fantastic producer even under difficult circumstances!
Hey Leo. Nice to see you again. 😁
Everything you see in the video at the setting was more or less improvised and handmade.
The pearl necklace of Aurora itself, the clothes ect.
If you remember, she also told in the live stream how she worked on the necklace for 3 days and collected piles of pearls from everywhere.
The video was made during Covid. The fan carriers are Aurora's friends she called them at very short notice and asked for help when the idea came to her.
With this version, however, I had my difficulties right from the start. Everything sounded too sterile to me too clean too perfect. When the piano version came it was perfect. That was Aurora again. This setting with the piano version would have been perfect.
By the way, I think it's great that you don't worry about viewer numbers at Aurora and stick with her.
Yes, this is the first song released from her upcoming Album out in January. The second song is Cure for me and the third song just came out this past week. She dropped the music video for "Giving in to the love" on the 20th. I hope you will check it out. It is really really good. Each song on this album will represent a different Greek God/Goddess. For this one it is Aphrodite, for Cure for me it is "Panacea" and for Giving in to the love it is Promethius. The Whole Album kind of has a theme of Greek Gods/Goddesses . The Album will be called "Gods we can touch"
I love this song from Aurora. Such a masterpiece and her first love song. This is one of the tracks on the new album due out on 21 January.
❤️ your reaction and I’m fan of Aurora and Angelina 👍😊
Hello Everyone! Hope you are all well. I just wanted to note that I think the "Cure for Me" video was actually my first :)
Covid hit and spread darkness, so she felt we needed some pure light in dark times, so she released this song.
This song is as sweet at sugar with sirup on top.... And that is the point I guess.....
The audio is the original "demo" from when they made the song several years before.
For me I see smoke filled bars in the 1920-1930, a small stage, and a butiful lady on stage, and a guy on the piano.... 😎
You're so right - her artistry is immense. And it commands you to watch and to listen. Hope to see you doing her last one very soon.
Hello Leo 🙂 good reaction ! Many thanks 😉
Hi Leo good to se you.
You are one of the best Aurora reactors out there. And you allways have some words of wisdom.
Aurora has many dedicated fans and for some of them its about more than
entertainment and music.
Some fans actually say that Aurora is the
reason their still allive.
That can be heavy burden to carry.
Arora is without a doubt a sensitiv
person so i wonder if she feels any
pressure or responsebility and in that
case is it inhibiting or inspiring for her?
Do you have any thoughts on this?
I saw you asked with text "What is Love". I`m pretty shure Aurora know the difference between the physical love of many depended kinds and the divine One with none. And she love bothe:)
Thank you, Elnar.
Its inspired of Sandro Botticellis painting the birth of Venus.
The song is part of her upcoming album Gods whe can touch.
