I'd just like to say that I absolutely LOVE what Black Rock Shooter is becoming. She's not just some obscure art from a Vocaloid PV anymore. People are starting to realize how much potential she has as a character. The OVA had a new take on her universe and story, and now there's a GAME that has a whole new interpretation! Lets hope that there's more stuff like this in the future. :3

@Bargadiel i've played the game (downloaded it of course) and the bike part in the gameplay is like when the enemy in front of you is about to hit you, you move left or right and you can dodge and destroy it with her sword. Then, after the gauge is full, you can start shooting multiple shots towards the enemies in front of you and repeat the whole thing over and over. The problem is, it gets harder the farther you get through.
This is actually better than than OVA, like most people are saying here we really need to see this company make a movie. The quality of animation in this 2 minute trailer is beyond top notch.
@CptMurasa Had you considered the fact that the OVA and The Game are written by different people? How can this be a 'clone' if it's an original title? Just a head up, We are getting two new Black★Rock Shooter manga in the upcoming months.... You guess it, neither of them follow the plot of the OVA. Enjoy.
BRS The Game looks so awesome from this trailer. I read that part of the game will take place in a San Francisco like city, which is cool when thinking that a game takes place in the city where you live.
@project0omega The game and the OVA aren't related. You won't get unanswered questions answered here in the game, unfortunately. Not that that's a bad thing, the OVA didn't show the series' full potential. Also, it's VERY, VERY, VERY unlikely that their powers come from a devil. The most plausible speculation is that STR, BRS and DM are all dead.
@Bargadiel You will have one sword skill to use on. Be aware that using it normally (R+assigned key) will deal quite a weak damage, but if you use your Snipe skill and 'STUN'd the enemy, it will deal a really high damage to the stunned enemy. And since I haven't unlocked everything, I'm not sure if there will be a sword weapon, I finished the game, now working on extras and true end.

@@snapper6390 Sadly I don't think that would happen, since the company that owns the game was declared bankrupt a long while ago and they're no more making any games...
If the game and anime were connected, I feel it would be that the two alternate worlds merged into one, which was starting to happen in the anime by people like yomi getting merged with their alternate selves in the other world, and then when thy merged fully the only hope was the brs who defeated dead master who helped start the destruction in the other world, but when the world merged it sent mato/brs shooter into shock getting rid of most hope..

What I really appreciate about this game is that it really resembles HUKE's style. There is a lot of texture in his artwork and Ufo Table (is that the name of the animators? IDK.) captured it beautifully!

one ok rock - no scared + awesome animation = awesome opening...seriously I dont think it can get any better than this, defenetly a must buy, and its great that it ll come to the us in english. now that im done being all serious....NICEEEE!!!
I must admit, I didn't know anything about Black Rock Shooter or One OK Rock until this very awesome video. Just saw the OVA now, I'm definitely looking forward to this more than most other upcoming jrpgs. Here's hoping it comes to the states, it will be a day one purchase for me no doubt!

Don't you think that its weird that BRS gain awful lots of interest before even releasing enough stuff...So far it's just short MV and OVA (which doesn't have strong story) with few chapters of manga, and look how many people anticipating this! (and i'm one of them XD) I wonder what magic can make this so commercially attractive

I love Black Rock Shooter. It's awesome to see this song come out as a OVA, then a game and also become merchandise like figures.
BRS is already awesome with a bike. And now she has jet packs, jet boots and a plane?! Now that is what I call, OVERKILL.
