Since then I have enjoyed listening this amazing song so many times so much so it had become one of the top hundred songs of my life. Lately, saw the grandson of singer Mahendra kapoor singing this on stage. AWESOME !!!
My late father used to sing this song when I was a young child when we joined him in Britain in 1968. I wrongly searched for it many times using Leele Gagan… without success. Then presto one day I heard it on a golden oldies compilation. I shared the song with my siblings. One of my most favourite songs.
