    Daniel 11: 32 Those who do wickedly against the covenant he shall [o]corrupt with flattery; but the people who know their God shall be strong, and carry out great exploits. 33 And those of the people who understand shall instruct many;
    Jesus said: Luke 23: 46 "Father, into thy hands I commend my spirit"
    Question: What "spirit" Jesus Christ commend to the hands of the Father??
    What means Mark 12: 29 "The Lord our God is one Lord" ?
    What means 1Corinthians 8: 6 " one God, the Father, ..... and one Lord Jesus Christ ....."
    What means Mathew 22: 44 The Lord said unto my Lord,
    So, who is the Lord ? How Lords exist ?
    1 John 5:7 >
    The Father has Himself : John 5:26, John 17:5,
    Jesus has Himself : Hebrew 5:5 John 5:26, John 10:18, John 14:21, and
    the Holy Spirit has Himself : John 16:13
    These Three persons are ONE IN UNITY , "One God" means One in Unity and not an absolute monad, John 17:21 "1 That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us:"

    Dear Trinitarian: If Jesus is God, then the Council of Ephesus in 431 A.D. declared correctly that Mary is the mother of God.
    Do you trinitarians see any problem with that declaration?
    Can you trinitarians provide one Bible verse that says Mary is the mother of God?

    • @MyNotBirthday
      @MyNotBirthday 6 лет назад

      No one cares about Council of Ephesus. When Christians were persecuted some recanted to spare their lives. Pliney the Young Letters 10.96 Lived 61 AD to 113 AD “They affirmed, however, the whole of their guilt, or their error, was, that they were in the habit of meeting on a certain fixed day before it was light, when they sang in alternate verses a hymn to Christ, as to a God”. Mary is just a woman. You would know if you read the bible. Jesus never affirms much of her...
      1. People say Jesus's mother is there. Jesus is like "nah".
      Matthew 12:49-50
      And he stretched forth his hand toward his disciples, and said, Behold my mother and my brethren!
      For whosoever shall do the will of my Father which is in heaven, the same is my brother, and sister, and mother.
      2. People say "blessed is your mother who breastfed you". Jesus is like "nah".
      Luke 11:27-28
      And it came to pass, as he spake these things, a certain woman of the company lifted up her voice, and said unto him, Blessed is the womb that bare thee, and the paps which thou hast sucked.
      But he said, Yea rather, blessed are they that hear the word of God, and keep it.

    The trinity is not found anywhere in the Bible. It is a pagan doctrine introduced by Philo who brought paganism, Hellenism, Greek, Babylonian, and Platonic philosophies into Christianity. In other words, the trinity is new age Mystery Babylon.
    The Illustrated Bible Dictionary records: "The word Trinity [including the concept] is not found in the Bible. . . It did not find a place formally in the theology of the church till the 4th century."
    *My words added between the brackets.*
    The New Catholic Encyclopedia admits that the Trinity [doctrine] "is not. . . directly and immediately the word of God."
    The Encyclopedia of Religion And Ethics records: At first the Christian Faith was not Trinitarian. . . It was not so in the apostolic and sub-apostolic ages, as reflected in the New Testament and other early Christian writings."
    L. L. Paine, professor of Ecclesiastical History acknowledged: "The Old Testament is strictly monotheistic. God is a single personal being. The idea that a trinity is to be found there . . . is utterly without foundation."
    The Encyclopedia of Religion admits: "Theologians today are in agreement that the Hebrew Bible does not contain a doctrine of the Trinity."
    The New Catholic Encyclopedia also admits: "The doctrine of the Holy Trinity is not taught in the Old Testament."
    Jesuit Edmund Fortman wrote in his book, The Triune God: ". . . There is no evidence that any sacred writer even suspected the existence of a Trinity within the Godhead. . . Even to see in the Old Testament suggestions or foreshadowings or 'veiled signs' of the trinity of persons, is to go beyond the words and intent of the sacred writers."
    The Encyclopedia of Religion says: "Theologians agree that the New Testament also does not contain an explicit doctrine of the Trinity."
    The New Encyclopedia Britannica reports: "Neither the word Trinity nor the explicit doctrine appears in the New Testament."
    The New International Dictionary of New Testament Theology confirms: "The New Testament does not contain the developed doctrine of the Trinity."
    Jesuit Fortman similarly states: "The New Testament writers. . . give us no formal or formulated doctrine of the Trinity, no explicit teaching that in one God there are three co-equal divine persons. . . Nowhere do we find any trinitarian doctrine of three distinct subjects of divine life and activity in the same Godhead."
    Yale University professor E. Washburn Hopkins affirms in the Origin and Evolution of Religion: "To Jesus and Paul the doctrine of the trinity was apparently unknown; . . .they say nothing about it."
    Historian Arthur Weigall records in The Paganism in Our Christianity: "Jesus Christ never mentioned such a phenomenon, and nowhere in the New Testament does the word 'Trinity' appear. The idea was only adopted by the Church three hundred years after the death of our Lord."
    Your guest goes through some seriously bad wordsmithing and interpretive gymnastics to make the OT appear to be teaching the trinity. He is READING meaning INTO the texts from his trinitarian presuppositional beliefs which results in a steady state of confirmation bias.
    Believing the Trinity inadvertently causes the trinitarian to violate the first three commandments.
    The trinity is a direct assault on the FAITH, that was ONCE FOR ALL DELIVERED TO THE SAINTS. The trinity is an extra biblical revelation that was rejected by mainstream Christianity until Constantine and Augustine declared Jesus to be "very God of very God" in 325 A.D.. Constantine was a pagan sun god worshipper. The following year he had his wife and son murdered. That is the kind of EVIL that pushed the trinity into Christianity. The trinity was forced upon the masses by means of terrorism, violence, torture, cruelty and death. The trinitarian church burned people alive for teaching against the trinity. They burned books, homes, churches and confiscated property.
    The trinity is unworthy of bearing the name Christian. No Christian doctrine can be implemented by force under the penalty of death.
    Trinitarians can no longer threaten non trinitarian believers lives as they did in the past, and I thank God for their sakes that Unitarians are full of grace, truth, mercy, kindness and forgiveness......which the trinitarians completely lacked for many centuries.
    SHOW ME ONE SCRIPTURE that says I must believe the trinity doctrine in order to be saved?
    It is a NON ESSENTIAL doctrine and should not bear the name Christian.

      Interesting reply.
      I take it you're a JW as the quotations you mention are are all taken from the "Should you believe in the Trinity " booklet.
      Arthur Weigall, whom you mentioned, also said that the virgin birth was of pagan origins, likewise that Jesus never hung on a tree and that He never actually died. All of which you would disagree with. So why quote Weigall as an authority? Please check sources outside of the wbts. The book by Weigall mentioned is called "Paganism in our Christianity"

      @@jeffouwehand6995 No, I am not a JW. Closer to Biblical Unitarian but not a member of any denomination. I prefer to use the term Biblicist. I go by what the Bible teaches and it doesn't teach a trinity doctrine. The Trinity doctrine is only found and explained in man made creeds beginning in 381 A.D.

      Get saved Jeff. I was a trinitarian for over 40 years. I defended the trinity all over the Internet from 1997 to 2008. Since I was awakened in 2008 I have been defending the Biblical Monotheist position and standing firm against the trinity.
      I know all your arguments before you open your mouth, and probably better than you know them. I have studied the Bible for over 90,000 hours and for 58 years. Do you seriously think that means nothing? If so, then you have zero faith in the word of YHWH to transform peoples hearts and minds.
      ** BUT NOW in Romans 3:21-26 signals a change that corresponds with Paul's message in Acts 13.
      PAUL REVEALS HOW A PERSON IS SAVED:
      Acts 13:39; Romans 1:16-17;
      Romans 3:21-26; Romans 4:5-12;
      Romans 5:1; Romans 10:9;
      1 Corinthians 15:1-4; Ephesians 2:8-9;
      Titus 3:4-8
      Get saved Jeff.....and please note: Paul doesn't say a belief in any trinity doctrine is required for salvation. It's non essential and unBiblical.

    Judaism, the representation of the O.T, like Islam, has no Trinity... and there are even Christians who are with Islam and Judaism on this.
    For example, Gen 1:27 says 'His' and not 'Their'.
