So Ellen's fiancé grandfather was a judge and he arranged access with the police for the crime scene clean up crew and he took her computers, not to mention 2 stab wounds occurred post mortem. this is a terrible outcome for her family who still cant get this investigated 😡

Thank you for making the connection to the one that had the power to affect all of the bodies that were involved in the investigation and (lack of) prosecution of this case. There had to be someone who had the power and influence connected to the fiance, and if the grandfather was a judge in the Philadelphia legal system, that would also explain his influence on the judges at the Appellate level for them to reject the victim's family's 'standing'.

Deeming as a suicide is insane, and a complete failure of justice, showing signs of corruption, and laziness, and incompetence at least. When the cops did not wait for the forensics to come back in order to rule it a suicide our family knew it was not a suicide now we are fighting the police for justice and now we have to go in our own Pockets to get Justice for my sister. @@sarahraisingmyvoice Yes get the word out there all over the Internet and try to do a GoFundMe for a successful private investigator with a good track record first if you can but get it out there and also a lawyer .
(and contact the state's attorney general as they deal with fraud and also think about contacting Internal Affairs for the police who may or may not do a good job investigating bad cops )
... but you might want to look for a good pro bono lawyer , meaning they'll work for free until the case is won ; they usually work hard to win the case and one of the ways they do that is by drumming up a lot of publicity .
You might want to think about contacting the District Attorney's office to see if anybody in there will listen ... don't forget they are the prosecutors and they don't like criminals ... and if something criminal is going on here they do work for the victims rights ... later on if there is good suspicion that her boyfriend did kill her it would be the DA's office that would probably handle the prosecution anyway .
Even contact your local major news affiliate like ABC or CBS see if they'll talk about it on TV because corrupt people do not like publicity and that might help you find somebody , a lawyer who could contact you .
You need to do everything you can do to get the story out there and KEEP IT OUT THERE .
So if you can make a video and put it on your channel or the channel of someone in your family ... or create a channel specifically for her , that will help a lot talking all about the case and showing pictures of your sister and how you know it was not suicide and then also mention about the police officer being friends with the guy .
And then try to have a Facebook page also for the exact same thing .
Get it out on Twitter and all the social media .
That is why I don't think you should be using your own money to be doing all this ; just do the GoFundMe if you can because it also drums up publicity which is what will give this traction and open doors to getting answers .
A private investigator snooping around is something that a bad and dirty cop does not want snooping into their business or any past record that the cop might be a dirty cop ... and a good private investigator is expensive .
You might even want to send an email to Dallas Detective Bill Dear who wrote a book and made a documentary from it after 12 years of research .
He could probably tell you step-by-step where to start and what to do .
His documentary is called O.J. Simpson is Innocent and I Can Prove It .
His documentary presents a lot of overwhelming evidence pointing to O.J.s violent , paranoid schizophrenic son Jason as the perpetrator .
By the way , that vid is here for free .
Good luck with that and remember yes the name of the game is publicity ( public relations ) and marketing her story to them ... that's what's important to keep a case out there in the public eye until you can get Justice for your sister .

I can’t believe any judge is stopping those parents from holding the PD accountable. They were clearly negligent, and dropped the ball. No sane person would come to the same conclusion that they did. One of those stab wounds she sustained, completely cut her spinal cord, so she wouldn’t have even been able to continue doing that to herself, if she was actually the one who did it. And also, if she truly wanted to end it, why would she do it like that?

Seems police automatically assume 'suicide' when the door is locked from the inside, but the interior evidence doesn't support 'suicide'? I have a friend who died, back in the late '70s... they found him dead of a gunshot wound inside his bathroom, locked from the inside, but no gun in the bathroom with him... yet they ruled his death a 'suicide' and closed the investigation. This was in Redwood City, California. He was a police cadet with the San Mateo County Sheriff's Department. I was a police cadet with the Menlo Park Police Department, and we had gone through the same class at the Explorer Police Academy, so we became friends. I questioned that ruling, when I read about the case in the media. Knowing my law enforcement background, I KNEW that it was an impossibility... someone shot him in his home, and then took the gun with them, locking the door behind them, staging it. I couldn't question it... because I had no power to intervene. Something just didn't make sense in that death ruling.

24:21 ‘she stabbed herself, she fell on the knife, I don’t know’ in my opinion that would not be someone’s first thought, everyone’s reacts to grief differently blah blah blah but on the phone with the operator you wouldn’t say that, you would say something like ‘she has been stabbed’ or ‘she has a knife sticking out of her chest’ something like that. In my opinion this is a guilty fiancé, setting the scene and telling HIS story (lie) of what happened and maybe he paid off the police

Thank you Ana and Phillip for another fantastic podcast episode. 💗 Ellen’s case is sadly not unlike several others that I am aware of where police found it easier to just classify the death as a suicide than doing the more rigorous investigative work that a homicide entails. Which is why I firmly believe that LE should treat every death scene as a potential homicide until a point in the investigation where the evidence definitely proves otherwise. And I have been following the Delphi case since Abby and Libby first went missing. I just hope that they receive the justice that they deserve. 🙏🏽

No, Ellen didn't kill herself. I feel for her parents/family. She was murdered & that husband of hers was doing some strange things & acting very shady. The 911 call alone is so weird. It sounds like a bad, low budget movie. I think he did it. He has motive. Poor Ellen... I don't think she told her parents certain things but there was def some form of abuse going on b4 this happened.

He did a reenactment of the stabbings to see if it was even possible for Ellen to have done it. Her fiancée uncle is an attorney who was present I believe before police. He has done so much research into this case. There is no way I believe she died by her own hands.

I understand what Phillip is explaining with the laws.. however the parents were on another channel and all they asked for was to change it to “undetermined” not homicide. My head is spinning more than ever with the Delphi case. However the BH guy and son L are to say the least.. interesting. I don’t think it dismisses RA They did not arrest and accuse him based on one single bullet. Seeing what they’ve released.. I’m guessing there’s a whole lot more to come. I still can’t believe KK had NOTHING to do with this even if his job was to lure them. Too coincidental that interaction on the day they encountered this demise.

That many stab wounds and the depth of the wounds is associated with rage. She would have had to be extremely angry with herself but I doubt she made all those stab wounds herself as she was bleeding out to have the rage and the strength to inflect that much harm to herself.

I’m so glad Ellen’s case is getting more coverage. I actually learned of this case many years ago and I’ve never forgotten it!!! I watched one video where the creator’s wife was the same size / body type as Ellen. She was also into yoga and very limber. In the video , they took a ruler the same size as the knife left in Ellen’s chest and the wife tried to replicate not only reaching the same stab placement but the same forward force to penetrate how deep each wound was ….. she could NOT do or even stretch her arm / hand to some of the spots … most definitely not with any room to have the force to penetrate deep. It’s absolutely appalling. My love and sympathy to Ellen’s parents and other loved ones. If justice will not be served then I hope at the least MANY MANY people learn the truth. Her parents are so strong. I don’t believe for 1 second Ellen took her own life.
May she rest in peace ♥️🕊️
