@@sarahraisingmyvoice Yes get the word out there all over the Internet and try to do a GoFundMe for a successful private investigator with a good track record first if you can but get it out there and also a lawyer . (and contact the state's attorney general as they deal with fraud and also think about contacting Internal Affairs for the police who may or may not do a good job investigating bad cops ) ... but you might want to look for a good pro bono lawyer , meaning they'll work for free until the case is won ; they usually work hard to win the case and one of the ways they do that is by drumming up a lot of publicity . You might want to think about contacting the District Attorney's office to see if anybody in there will listen ... don't forget they are the prosecutors and they don't like criminals ... and if something criminal is going on here they do work for the victims rights ... later on if there is good suspicion that her boyfriend did kill her it would be the DA's office that would probably handle the prosecution anyway . Even contact your local major news affiliate like ABC or CBS see if they'll talk about it on TV because corrupt people do not like publicity and that might help you find somebody , a lawyer who could contact you . You need to do everything you can do to get the story out there and KEEP IT OUT THERE . So if you can make a video and put it on your channel or the channel of someone in your family ... or create a channel specifically for her , that will help a lot talking all about the case and showing pictures of your sister and how you know it was not suicide and then also mention about the police officer being friends with the guy . And then try to have a Facebook page also for the exact same thing . Get it out on Twitter and all the social media . That is why I don't think you should be using your own money to be doing all this ; just do the GoFundMe if you can because it also drums up publicity which is what will give this traction and open doors to getting answers . A private investigator snooping around is something that a bad and dirty cop does not want snooping into their business or any past record that the cop might be a dirty cop ... and a good private investigator is expensive . You might even want to send an email to Dallas Detective Bill Dear who wrote a book and made a documentary from it after 12 years of research . He could probably tell you step-by-step where to start and what to do . His documentary is called O.J. Simpson is Innocent and I Can Prove It . His documentary presents a lot of overwhelming evidence pointing to O.J.s violent , paranoid schizophrenic son Jason as the perpetrator . By the way , that vid is here for free . Good luck with that and remember yes the name of the game is publicity ( public relations ) and marketing her story to them ... that's what's important to keep a case out there in the public eye until you can get Justice for your sister .
Thank you so much for covering the Ellen Greenberg case. What her parents have gone through is absolutely horrendous. The entire Greenberg family deserve justice.
It's so obvious the fiance did it, and he (and/or his family) must have had some good connections in the police department. It's so sad that she and her family will likely never get justice. 💔
Ana, I have a case suggestion: Daniel Robinson, the geologist that went missing in Arizona. Locally, the police department handling the investigation is known for its issues. His family has no answers to what happened to him.
The police should not have the last words on how she died....They may presume it was a suicide but it's the cororners or medical experts who determines what happened to her body and how she died...Not the police!!.. This seems to be an incompetent job from the police department or a cover up....Both should be investigated...How do you stab yourself that many times in the back????...I can hardly reach my back to wash it much less to stab it with a knife.....Her death is surly suspicious....
It was later determined that her spinal cord was severed, she would not have been able to continue stabbing herself, let alone the final stab in her chest. Her fiancé called his uncle, an attorney before calling 911. His family was granted access to the apartment to clean it and remove her electronics. Ugh, this case makes me so angry. The corruption is egregious!
I can't thank you enough for covering Ellen Greenberg's case! The police are corrupt when the detective is telling them to! I live here and this has had me so upset from the beginning! Sam's Uncle was the lead detective but not on duty and was the first person to arrive there. No one checked the trash, Sam's physical being or his things (clothes, shoes),! I believe Sam is guilty but he was never taken in for questioning, and has moved on in life and married with children now! He needs to be locked up for life!
I’m going to say it. It’s the Fiancé. He lied about the security guard and didn’t seem emotional on the 911 call. She wanted to move back home and probably didn’t want to be married anymore. I’d check the fiancé’s background to see if he has ties to the police department.
Please have her parents on to discuss this case and spread awareness. Spreading awareness and calling out every law agent involved in this farce of an investigation may put pressure on authorities to actually reopen the case. The police, judge, and DA should all be ashamed of themselves and held accountable for this blatant disregard for justice. Disgusting.
Bring in outside investigators and medical. Start from the beginning. Also, Phillip Hamilton is awesome! He has the best energy and very intelligent!!! 😊
I’ve been following this case, it is so frustrating and heartbreaking 💔 Thank you for covering this story True Crime Daily!!! Major coverup here with the fiancé and his family ties politically. Help her parents continue their fight with Justice for Ellen 🙏🙏🙏💕
This story has absolutely enraged me from the day I heard about it. My heart and prayers go out to Ellen’s family. How on earth can the police and ME get away with this. We all know it’s a murder but how can they still be getting away with it. It’s obviously a cover up. I really hope the family gets justice for the beautiful daughter. This is beyond a joke at this stage. It’s cases like this that makes the American judicial system look like a joke, just like the Australian woman who was murdered by a police officer under a street light after calling the police because she’d heard someone screaming. Story after story like this where the police botches or is corrupt.
I can’t believe any judge is stopping those parents from holding the PD accountable. They were clearly negligent, and dropped the ball. No sane person would come to the same conclusion that they did. One of those stab wounds she sustained, completely cut her spinal cord, so she wouldn’t have even been able to continue doing that to herself, if she was actually the one who did it. And also, if she truly wanted to end it, why would she do it like that?
Seems police automatically assume 'suicide' when the door is locked from the inside, but the interior evidence doesn't support 'suicide'? I have a friend who died, back in the late '70s... they found him dead of a gunshot wound inside his bathroom, locked from the inside, but no gun in the bathroom with him... yet they ruled his death a 'suicide' and closed the investigation. This was in Redwood City, California. He was a police cadet with the San Mateo County Sheriff's Department. I was a police cadet with the Menlo Park Police Department, and we had gone through the same class at the Explorer Police Academy, so we became friends. I questioned that ruling, when I read about the case in the media. Knowing my law enforcement background, I KNEW that it was an impossibility... someone shot him in his home, and then took the gun with them, locking the door behind them, staging it. I couldn't question it... because I had no power to intervene. Something just didn't make sense in that death ruling.
24:21 ‘she stabbed herself, she fell on the knife, I don’t know’ in my opinion that would not be someone’s first thought, everyone’s reacts to grief differently blah blah blah but on the phone with the operator you wouldn’t say that, you would say something like ‘she has been stabbed’ or ‘she has a knife sticking out of her chest’ something like that. In my opinion this is a guilty fiancé, setting the scene and telling HIS story (lie) of what happened and maybe he paid off the police
Thank you Ana and Phillip for another fantastic podcast episode. 💗 Ellen’s case is sadly not unlike several others that I am aware of where police found it easier to just classify the death as a suicide than doing the more rigorous investigative work that a homicide entails. Which is why I firmly believe that LE should treat every death scene as a potential homicide until a point in the investigation where the evidence definitely proves otherwise. And I have been following the Delphi case since Abby and Libby first went missing. I just hope that they receive the justice that they deserve. 🙏🏽
As i remember her fiance had a relative or someone he knew in the police department. Also, his uncle came in and helped to clean the apartment and took her laptop. I think the fiance definitely had something to do with it.
Yes. I think he broke in initially (breaking the door jam and lock) - then he claimed he did this AFTER the gym. Instead, it was earlier...during an argument and he flipped out and stabbed her multiple times.
Makes you wonder if an officer or a family member of an officer is involved with her murder. Why else would they go out of their way to make it a suicide when it is so obviously a murder?
I always believed it was her fiancé. How can you stab yourself so many times. Just ridiculous, the police let the family & the victim down & her murderer is walking free. Such an injustice
Ana, good morning to you! I must tell you, you look absolutely gorgeous this episode! The hair, makeup, and your fresh face. Just gorgeous Ana! Love the show!
Is it possible the fiancé stabbed her then went to workout for his alibi and locked the door on his way out but claimed he didn’t have his key? I’ve always wondered why the police or investigators didn’t put this together sooner!
No, Ellen didn't kill herself. I feel for her parents/family. She was murdered & that husband of hers was doing some strange things & acting very shady. The 911 call alone is so weird. It sounds like a bad, low budget movie. I think he did it. He has motive. Poor Ellen... I don't think she told her parents certain things but there was def some form of abuse going on b4 this happened.
I will never believe Ellen took her own life! Who fills up their gas tank then goes home and kills themselves by stabbing themselves in the back ??? Take it to the Supreme Court! Prayers to her parents! #JusticeforEllenGreenburg
Whoever conducted the initial evaluation ( I can’t call it an “investigation “)-of the schoolteacher’s crime scene cannot have been trying to discover the truth. I’d frankly be very surprised if an examination of the evidence didn’t show woeful neglect as well.
Gavin Fish covered this case. He was very invested in trying to get to the truth. He is a document guy and has thousands of pages of documents in this case. He did a reenactment of the stabbings to see if it was even possible for Ellen to have done it. Her fiancée uncle is an attorney who was present I believe before police. He has done so much research into this case. There is no way I believe she died by her own hands.
I don't care if she had anxiety disorder, I'm PTSD,from the war, and I slit my wrist in said fashion and I'm ok I take meds. But at times it still crosses my mind. That poor girl was MUDERED and Philip is covering it up because they botched the investigation. They are so stupid it's sickening.
Everytime i see those girls and gear thier name i just break down. These crimes affect us all .and i pray for the girls to jave complete justice. And prayers for ellen and justice for her
I always thought it was odd that the fiance would say she killed herself and fell on the knife on 911 call. Why would anyone think that? And how do we know the door was broken down before he went jogging and he was just trying to set an alibi?
Thank you 🙏 Ana for covering Ellen’s case! It needs your shining light. I hope her parents will come on. I understand what Phillip is explaining with the laws.. however the parents were on another channel and all they asked for was to change it to “undetermined” not homicide. My head is spinning more than ever with the Delphi case. However the BH guy and son L are to say the least.. interesting. I don’t think it dismisses RA They did not arrest and accuse him based on one single bullet. Seeing what they’ve released.. I’m guessing there’s a whole lot more to come. I still can’t believe KK had NOTHING to do with this even if his job was to lure them. Too coincidental that interaction on the day they encountered this demise.
Her “suicidal searches” are such a joke… when she’s literally searching for the name of her anti depressant drug, searching for specific side effects, how is that searching for “suicidal ideas”? She was looking up information about suicidality as a side effect of medication! And let’s say she was searching just for information about suicide because she was struggling… she’s not then gonna stab herself in the fuckin head, neck, and back!!’
Years later they sent the drive to the FBI and FBI said no signs of such searches. Philly was having none of that and all of the sudden they trashed FBI findings and came up with their own.
As a woman that has been in pain most of her life and did consider suicide, I googled the least painful least horrific way to commit suicide for a woman. Now, I'm not telling you what it was, however keep this in mind, my attempted suicide saved my life that night. God works in mysterious ways. Someone being in pain ain't taking the painful way out, I call baloney! Besides, you ever. Been stabed? That sh*t hurts! I got stabbed once in the jugular vein by my brat of a little brother, you aren't doing that over and over again.
As 'unaliving' is a crime I wonder if the family can sue the state in Civil Court for defamation of character? The details of the case would come out AND the DA would have to defend ruling suicide - and the ME would have to explain changing the manner of death 🤔
Anyone who believes she stabbed herself 20+ times anywhere on her body, let alone mostly to the back of her head and neck, is absolutely nutty. The whole thing is fishy. Someone has gotten away with murder and its disgusting. Cover up 10000% is what I believe and I feel so bad for Ellens family
Suicide 🤔??? I feel those officers need to retire because it is just disgusting to write up a murder as a suicide... M.E. and officers on this case and the poor handling are also very questionable, which makes me think covering up... super sad case
Sounds like a homicide coverup with someone in the police or justice systems. Someone has connections that go high up. That many stab wounds and the depth of the wounds is associated with rage. She would have had to be extremely angry with herself but I doubt she made all those stab wounds herself as she was bleeding out to have the rage and the strength to inflect that much harm to herself.
The fiance definitely has some connections within the police or judicial system. So sick of the judicial system covering for their own. A lot of corruption
The Delphi murders happened a few months before I had moved from Indiana. That case will always stay with me. So incredibly heartbreaking for their families.
Ana love your hair styled this way and the blue on you is very flattering. Another great episode. I've followed these cases closely, especially Ellen's case because I just will never believe it's suicide!
Allen confessed to his wife from prison and they're claiming he only did that because the guards were threatening him. Why didn't his lawyers complain immediately? If he was so scared he confessed, why isn't he still scared? He is still in there but he isn't scared now. If they threatened him to confess, why didn't they threaten him to plead guilty too? I think they are full of crap.
I haven't watched the video yet, but I can tell you without a doubt, Ellen's case shouldn't even be a question. This case makes me so mad every time I hear it. I am a former PO, and not for one second would suicide have been a feasible answer there. This is one case that I can not let go of until there is justice for her. I keep praying one day soon, we will see him pay for what HE did. No one stabs themselves, period, let alone in those areas, while washing off fruit to eat! Complete cover-up, IMO. I can't even say, incompetence, because there's just no way one could be so ignorant. Thank you for covering her case, Ana! Now that my rant is out of the way, lol, l will watch it and hear your thoughts.
I’m so glad Ellen’s case is getting more coverage. I actually learned of this case many years ago and I’ve never forgotten it!!! I watched one video where the creator’s wife was the same size / body type as Ellen. She was also into yoga and very limber. In the video , they took a ruler the same size as the knife left in Ellen’s chest and the wife tried to replicate not only reaching the same stab placement but the same forward force to penetrate how deep each wound was ….. she could NOT do or even stretch her arm / hand to some of the spots … most definitely not with any room to have the force to penetrate deep. It’s absolutely appalling. My love and sympathy to Ellen’s parents and other loved ones. If justice will not be served then I hope at the least MANY MANY people learn the truth. Her parents are so strong. I don’t believe for 1 second Ellen took her own life. May she rest in peace ♥️🕊️

So sorry for your loss. I can’t imagine how difficult it must be to grapple with a sabotaged investigation on top of all that grief.
Sorry for your loss. Put the story on the internet. Let people help you
Good luck 🍀
I sincerely hope you can find some Justice for your family and sister.
@@sarahraisingmyvoice Yes get the word out there all over the Internet and try to do a GoFundMe for a successful private investigator with a good track record first if you can but get it out there and also a lawyer .
(and contact the state's attorney general as they deal with fraud and also think about contacting Internal Affairs for the police who may or may not do a good job investigating bad cops )
... but you might want to look for a good pro bono lawyer , meaning they'll work for free until the case is won ; they usually work hard to win the case and one of the ways they do that is by drumming up a lot of publicity .
10:47 10:49 10:49 10:49 😮😅😅😅
Exactly @@vel227
It's so obvious the fiance did it, and he (and/or his family) must have had some good connections in the police department. It's so sad that she and her family will likely never get justice. 💔
FBI needs to get involved
Unfortunately the connection is the synagogue
Exactly! Being stabbed that many times is usually a sign of a crime of passion.
I agree
what?@@pale_saint
Ana, I have a case suggestion: Daniel Robinson, the geologist that went missing in Arizona. Locally, the police department handling the investigation is known for its issues. His family has no answers to what happened to him.
Got it! Thanks will share with the team
I agree! And love you in baby blue Ana!!
I hope someone has at least warned Wifey about her husband’s track record. Best predictor of future behavior, and all that
I am surprised this one was not on our radar sooner
I’m going to say it. It’s the Fiancé. He lied about the security guard and didn’t seem emotional on the 911 call. She wanted to move back home and probably didn’t want to be married anymore. I’d check the fiancé’s background to see if he has ties to the police department.
I hate when I’m just going about my business and I accidentally fall on a knife, ten times in a row
Disgusting.
Ellen's Fiancé put his foot in his mouth when he told the 911 operator that Ellen stabbed herself.
The police seem to be not confronting the truth of the matter, avoiding the reality. 6:35
Phillip Hamilton is the most wonderful guest! His knowledge and way of expressing himself are absolutely captivating....
Phillip is fantastic
Bring in outside investigators and medical. Start from the beginning. Also, Phillip Hamilton is awesome! He has the best energy and very intelligent!!! 😊
Yes, such positive energy
I’ve been following this case, it is so frustrating and heartbreaking 💔 Thank you for covering this story True Crime Daily!!! Major coverup here with the fiancé and his family ties politically.
Help her parents continue their fight with Justice for Ellen 🙏🙏🙏💕
This sickens me!!! America has become so damn corrupt!!! The fiance did it and has friends and family in high places.💜💜💜
Agreed
Exactly. Start from homicide and work back
As i remember her fiance had a relative or someone he knew in the police department. Also, his uncle came in and helped to clean the apartment and took her laptop. I think the fiance definitely had something to do with it.
If they got into a spat and she “locked him out” I’m sure it would enrage him enough to make her “stab herself to death” 😒
Ellens boyfriend has connections, his dad!!!
Connections to the synagogue
Dude was waaaaaaay to calm on the phone with 911……I’d be absolutely hysterical!!!! I call BS
Ana, good morning to you! I must tell you, you look absolutely gorgeous this episode! The hair, makeup, and your fresh face. Just gorgeous Ana! Love the show!
Thank you so much.
Had a little time odd from crime. A NO-crime cleanse if you will
Why do Americans have to fight extremely hard to find justice for their loved ones?!...Why are they finding it hard to trust the police???..
Why blindly trust anything corruption in some police departments is not a new thing
Because far too often corruption is just so freaking obvious. And we no longer, as a society, ignore it as much. At least that is my take.
Is it possible the fiancé stabbed her then went to workout for his alibi and locked the door on his way out but claimed he didn’t have his key? I’ve always wondered why the police or investigators didn’t put this together sooner!
This is the dodgiest story I’ve heard for a long time. What are the police hiding? Nobody could believe this without ulterior motives.
Thanks so much for covering this case. It really needs much more attention. Thanks!!
The teacher must have been dating a cop.
Exactly my first thought
It’s bigger than that, it would be antisemitic to investigate the boyfriend
@@pale_saintaren’t they both Jewish though?!
his uncle was an ethics judge and friends with Josh Shapiro and donated to his campaign at the time
@@pale_saint why would it be antisemitic?
Hi all :) Anna you look gorgeous today !!! have a lovely weekend guys . xx
I will never believe Ellen took her own life! Who fills up their gas tank then goes home and kills themselves by stabbing themselves in the back ??? Take it to the Supreme Court! Prayers to her parents! #JusticeforEllenGreenburg
I believe the fiancé is responsible and may have someone in the police department covering up this murder case for him.
Whoever conducted the initial evaluation ( I can’t call it an “investigation “)-of the schoolteacher’s crime scene cannot have been trying to discover the truth. I’d frankly be very surprised if an examination of the evidence didn’t show woeful neglect as well.
Agreed that was NOT an investigation
Gavin Fish covered this case. He was very invested in trying to get to the truth. He is a document guy and has thousands of pages of documents in this case. He did a reenactment of the stabbings to see if it was even possible for Ellen to have done it. Her fiancée uncle is an attorney who was present I believe before police. He has done so much research into this case. There is no way I believe she died by her own hands.
Thank you for covering this! If the police get away with this I’m going to lose all my faith in the American justice system
It’s SO SUSPICIOUS that the fiancé said “she stabbed herself.” Why would that be his first thought? People don’t usually stab themselves …
Hmm sounds like a cop was involved...js
The synagogue’s involved
Everytime i see those girls and gear thier name i just break down. These crimes affect us all .and i pray for the girls to jave complete justice. And prayers for ellen and justice for her
I always thought it was odd that the fiance would say she killed herself and fell on the knife on 911 call. Why would anyone think that? And how do we know the door was broken down before he went jogging and he was just trying to set an alibi?
It almost makes you think the coroner murdered the teacher given their crazy “finding”.
Fire that ME and the cops. Prescription drugs don't give people super human ability to stab themselves in the back TWENTY TIMES!
Another fabulous and enlightening podcast!! Thanks Ana and Co.!
Perfect timing, I love this pod cast!
"One of the girls were naked and the other one was wearing the naked girls clothes"
Is this real life? Unbelievable!😡
But that’s just him just saying it was locked from the inside. No one else to verify that statement. He broke into the room.
911 call: too many details + really bad acting (OMG she stabbed herself). So suspicious.
Very true
I hope your feeling better now x
As 'unaliving' is a crime I wonder if the family can sue the state in Civil Court for defamation of character?
The details of the case would come out AND the DA would have to defend ruling suicide - and the ME would have to explain changing the manner of death 🤔
Ellen’s fiancé is the son of a man who owned a well known sporting store called I Goldberg and her fiancé is a supposedly is a producer.
So they’re ✡️
You'd have to be thoroughly incompetent or corrupt to even contemplate reporting this as a suicide.
Me again. Nobody finds a body with a knife sticking out of the chest and think “ oh goodness, she stabbed herself”. Never happens!!
There is absolutely no way she did this herself. The only mystery is how they are getting away with marking it as other than murder.
Poor Helen , it's absolutely appalling how they have came to a conclusion of suicide!?? Its ridiculous 💁 shame on them
Not even allowing the death certificate to be changed to undetermined is asinine!
Agreed
Sounds like a homicide coverup with someone in the police or justice systems. Someone has connections that go high up.
That many stab wounds and the depth of the wounds is associated with rage. She would have had to be extremely angry with herself but I doubt she made all those stab wounds herself as she was bleeding out to have the rage and the strength to inflect that much harm to herself.
Thanks for taking care for the family!
Am I the only one that heard him say "oh no she stabbed herself?" How did he know she stabbed herself?
That poor woman was clearly murdered! Really! How dumb are those investigators??
The fiance definitely has some connections within the police or judicial system. So sick of the judicial system covering for their own. A lot of corruption
The Delphi murders happened a few months before I had moved from Indiana. That case will always stay with me. So incredibly heartbreaking for their families.
Ana love your hair styled this way and the blue on you is very flattering. Another great episode. I've followed these cases closely, especially Ellen's case because I just will never believe it's suicide!
Ellen needs justice! Lock up her fiancé
We do not need a warning about suicide or self-harm topics on a true crime channel. 😂
Thanks for covering the Ellen Greenberg case! This case needs more attention!!! Mahalo!
]
Incompetence never adds up
I haven't watched the video yet, but I can tell you without a doubt, Ellen's case shouldn't even be a question.
What kind of cops are these kindergarten cops! These cops need to be fired.
Prayers to the parents I can’t imagine the pain!
