Sorry about the focus at the end, I’ve been super sick and have some other stuff on the go (you’ll find out soon) and clearly I’m off my game!! It’s hard on the eyes so my final thoughts on the foundation are “meh” it’s fine, but not amazing and the lack of shades is a turn off. I like the concealer and highlight quite a bit. The powder is nice if you aren’t looking for mattifying or a lot of coverage, could be nice for those of you that want to set your makeup but hate the powdery look!

I have the mini size to try out of the brightening one, I have yet to try it, I have high hopes because I love love LOVE the blur, I got so many compliments on it.
i got the first version of this foundation based on your review, but i don’t want to support them by buying this because of the lack of inclusion.
Yah it was good to see more shades last year but this year a shade extension was needed not another 12 shade foundation
It’s always so crazy to me how the studio lighting for filming makes you look soooo tan and then in natural light you look so much lighter...like you could be my shade twin. I’m horrible at finding shade matches for myself. I always feel like I end up looking orange. Lol.
It’s also my apartment, we have condos around us what are blue so might lighting is crazy cool toned in the natural light - hard to find that accurate light!

I just got the concealer in shade 8 (med-tan cool) and used it all over my combo face and my skin looks so smooth and natural and didn't transfer! I do wish they had a med-tan neutral shade since 9 is a little too warm and 8 I would need to bronze up just a bit. but i think I finally found my HG concealer 🥰

This is surprisingly one of my favorite foundations. Because it doesn’t get in my smile lines and wears all day without getting super oily on me. It does oxidize quite a bit. I wear shade 7 and it darkens to practically my perfect shade. The shade range is small but evenly divided between light, medium and dark. I think I’m okay with that because not every brand is going to come out with 50 shades and I don’t think that’s what we’re fighting for. We simply want the shades to be inclusive and I do think benefit did at least do that. Anyway, great video!

I’m close to ur skintone..In the benefit cakeless concealer which shade can v use for spot concealing and highlighting?
I’d consider the shade I used in the video good for highlighting or the shade below - not sure for spot concealing!

It looks good, and you did a great mix, but that's very disappointing that you had to mix two shades to come up with something to fit your shade. That means that this will be a pass for me.
