What I don't like is that reflective glitter polishes are basically glitter polishes. Yet whenever I ask swatchers how hard it is to remove they say it's "not as bad as a glitter polish" which is a lie. So thank you for being honest. This is why you're my fav swatcher.
I have this set and have used one of the polishes, it was a headache to remove it! IDK, I kind of regret buying these. They are pretty, but a peel off base is needed to make removal easier, I don’t like the textured finish, so the Smooth Moves was needed too. Just too much work for these polishes. The reflective glitter is cool, but also gimmicky.
I haven’t tried this particular brand, but I’ve used a few other reflective glitter polishes that I use as toppers. I don’t find it that difficult to remove with acetone. Maybe thicker coats are more difficult to remove 🤷♀️
It's not that hard to remove. I use a cotton pad with acetone and cover the nail with that and let it sit for a few minutes. This is what I do with all my glitter polishes and it works fine. It's easier than most larger glitters because those have a tendency to stick to the nail and these reflective glitters don't. That's just been my experience with these. Smooth moves wasn't necessary in my opinion. I tried it and compared to two coats of Seche Vite, both finishes were identical.
I STILL love, love, love KB Shimmer! They have the best glitter polishes IMO. Yep, always difficult removal- but they are worth it. Thanks for the reviews, Jess!❤
this is the first swatch/review of this collection i've seen that shows these well lit to where i can actually tell what colors they are. 👍 also ty for the good tip to keep bottle threads clean.. while it seems like common sense, i actually never made a point to pay attention to that 🤦♀️
I bought Lounging Around immediately when it was released. I am obsessed! I’ve still been eyeing There’s a Nap for That but I don’t know how often I’ll wear it. Thanks for sharing!
Thank you for your color-accurate lighting. It's just one of the reasons I have always trusted your reviews! I'll be buying a couple more of these than I had originally planned, now that I can see what they truly look like. I have some flash reflectives from Bow Polish that are more wintry colors, and my experience has been that this pigment is also pretty in lower light -- like how it is in the winter time. They absolutely twinkle and that just adds to how pretty they look in different lighting conditions.
I absolutely love KBShimmer. The names they come up with are the best I have a similar polish I picked up from February's PPU that is a dark blue with those sparkly bits. Great swatches of the polish. Thank you for reviewing them.
Super awesome review but I still haven't jumped on the reflective glitter wagon yet. Thinking about springing for Lounging Around and There's A Nap for That. TFS 😻 Britt
I have the Lounge Collection and wow they are beautiful I got them when they first came out I use the Smooth Moves Topper it leaves them smooth and glossy...❤❤❤
Use Vaseline on the nails and cuticle area before removing them. For some reason it helps make removal of these polishes easier. I have this collection and I’m in love with it. So beautiful.
Sooo pretty honestly love KBShimmer al the glitters are amazing! I will even get my phone no matter what lighting there is so I can see the glittler I love it
I think removal isn’t bad at all if you just soak with acetone and clips for a few minutes. Seems to come off okay for me! I just got a few, but I had to come watch for the swatches anyway😊
I'm so happy you did the picture with the full hand swatch, so much more helpful than the one finger swatch from your recent videos. Also, this is such a beautiful collection, definitely a must-buy for me!
It will depend on what my arrangement is with the brand whether a full swatch will be in the video or not. It’s just not sustainable for me to do it for every video anymore. It adds hours and hours to the process.
I totally bought all of these and have no regrets lmao they are gorgeous! 😍 Would you recommend the smoothing top coat? I didn't really find that it made much of a difference compared to two coats of Seche Vite.
I go back and forth, I think if you don’t usually use a thick topcoat like Seche Vite it could be a useful thing to have. But if you use Seche already it’s probably the same as two coats of it. I don’t know if they’ve changed but way back in the day smoothing topcoats were just straight nail polish base in a bottle.
Honestly, I think I prefer them in the bottle! They’d make good Christmas ornaments. Someone get on that.

Thank you for another great video. Thanks for being so honest always in your reviews. It's very much appreciated. Wishing you all the best.

Thanks for the reviews, Jess!❤
Of all the reflective collections I've seen they've never got my attention until now either. These are awesome - I want them all!

I am in love with the look of reflective glitters. This is a gorgeous collection x

So worth the removal and textured finish. I admit I fell for the shifts and I would welcome more additions to these!

I love how you showed the still shot and the single finger and the flash video. Thank you so much for the beautiful swatches! XOXO Heidi
I love the shimmers in these and I prefer them in lower lighting when they sparkle. Drawn to you is my fave.
this whole collection is absolutely perfect i want every single polish 😭

This collection is so good!!! One of the most popular KBShimmer collection we brought in.
I have Drawn to You, Love You Brunches, and Lounging Around and I absolutely love them! Reflective polishes are my new favorite thing right now 😆
I LOVE Reflective polishes, but i hate the sandy feeling of the glitter when you take it off! I love these colors!
Sooo pretty honestly love KBShimmer al the glitters are amazing! I will even get my phone no matter what lighting there is so I can see the glittler I love it
Great review Jess! I need to pick some of these up come pay day!! :)
drawn to you is my favorite
Oh! I ADORE the textured look. Unfortunately, I’ve sworn off any glittery polish because removal is such a pain.
This is currently my top collection of 2022! I’m all about the reflective polishes right now.
Am enjoying this! We can’t get KB Shimmer in Northern Ireland, I will have a look for similar shades for Spring!
Have you tried rainbow connection? They ship all over the UK?
My goodness are these beautiful! I don’t need any of these colors in my collection, but I want them all 😆

I think I need all of these.
HOLEe CoW and now there goes all my money 😆 these are gorgeous
A lot of these are pretty (and your swatches are on point, as always), but I'm over polishes that are hard to remove. :(
I only recently got rid of that OG Serum No. 5 reflective polish. All these years later and it looked like a little block of concrete in the bottle.
Beautiful
Thank you!!! Love them all
I order Novel Idea today but I am not sure how I feel about that reflecting aspect yet. I will know once I try I guess. I am not that fancy I think 😝
