Excellent boxes and congrats on the cosmic hit! I agree we need more retail products like this and hopefully more affordable/accessible. I wanted to get back into collecting with Marvel platinum but it's so difficult to find product at a reasonable price. Best of luck to you finishing your collection!
I went back to Fleer Ultra Avengers 2022 and built a set from there + annual 2021-22 and 2022-23 rather than trying to collect platinum at it's current price.
It is tough these days, prices have gone up quite a bit. I'm looking forward to the rest of the Marvel Platinum supply going up for sale on Upper Deck ePack, since people will race for achievements and then transfer stuff to comc.com and sell off singles.
@@icollectthings I'm looking forward to the ePack release as well! Do you have a video on your strategy for new ePack releases? Is it a good time to buy ePack itself or does it simply inject new inventory to the market and reduce prices, enabling prime conditions for rounding out a set?
@@jwmarvel I don't have a video on it but it is a good topic. For me it's the latter, the injection of more supply. ePack box and pack retail prices tend to follow pretty close to whatever the current market rate is, so it is usually still expensive to rip. But there are perks like achievement cards, trading, and not having to take up space. In my opinion the extra supply makes for a good time to pick up singles. From ePack you can ship your cards home or transfer to comc.com where they can be sold or shipped home. Often people that are finished ripping and claiming achievements will transfer cards to comc.com and then sell them to recoup costs.
man those boxes were very good for you, I love these boxes so much, so hard to find though. I'd love to hit a cosmic, best I've done so far is a red prism nick fury and a high series blue traxx venom
Yeah I got very lucky with these. Blue Traxx Venom is a nice pull, the art they picked for it is great.

UD/Marvel knocked it out of the park with this set but they’re impossible to find at retail and I agree with you that $50 a box is way too much for a blaster. Nice Elektra by the way!

Congrats on the Elektra! Are you still active on Hro? I've made the decision to move from physical to digital only. Traded/sold my hybrid EOS rewards to focus just on digital.
I'm still active but less for now until another Hybrid set comes out. It looks like there will only be one large hybrid chapter set out this season. I like the Crisis digital set but the packs are expensive =(

Mark, have you been able to find these blaster boxes lately? Its been about a few months since the last time I have seen these are my local retailers....
Yesterday Walmart's website had some for $30, sold by Central Iowa Resellers fulfilled by Walmart. I put an order in, and will hopefully find out if they are legit or not this weekend. I usually don't purchase any of the 3rd party fulfilled by Walmart listings.
Other than that, no luck online or in stores. I'm guessing supply has mostly dried up but would love to find more.

I got this batch a few weeks ago from the Upper Deck online store (link is in the description). I found them locally once at a Walmart and a Target, but haven't seen them in many weeks.
The thing don’t like about the cards are they are just art from comics and not original pieces
Cards 1-100 are original art for the set! The high series 101-200 are reused comic art though.
where did you get your blaster boxes from?
I got these from the Upper Deck Store about a month ago, the link is in the description. I don't know if they will be restocked again or not, but I still check periodically.
