Especially when you can't spam your spells on the appearing monsters. They survived too long and drained you. With the mage on the right. I tend to avoid buying from the store and get the gems through his ability. But the store didn't give you any charge regeneration. If you think about it, you only need 1 or maybe 2 gems early mid game per mage and you can buy the highest cost card. I also notice that while experiencing legacy. That if there is a monster early on, I buy a 4 cost spell immediately for one or both mages and then go on however the game sees fit. Sometimes another spell or most often gems. It's an illusion to buy many gems and thinking you can buy more stuff in the future. It's not the case if you have no or not many card destroying mechanics. Then you could have stacked them in-between 5 cards but without card draw you are always limited to 1 rotation of 5 cards. Means, you can't get through the deck fast and can't use many gems at ones. There was also no benefit to have so much aether. There wasn't a card that needed to be bought twice in a row for some synergy. That means 4-6 aether most of the time would totally satisfy all your needs. I don't write this to pick on you or know it better... I give you another perspective in order for your balance and feel for the game. I feel honered that you use my randomizer tip ^^ thx for the upload I was very surprised to see back to back uploads :D
@KralleZ7 you have some really good advice in there. I definitely just kinda go with my gut most of the time and I don't have a super refined strategy. I shot several videos over the weekend ill be putting up this week but it felt a bit like 2 steps forward 1 step back. I need to think deeper especially on my discard order and intentionally pairing store cards in my discard. Playing with my gut gets me some great moments but theres some dull points too where i still fall in beginner traps like i did this game. But live and learn and keep getting better.

That is so draining energy-wise and time-consuming to go through all nemesis cards. Even Though I enjoy the planing throughout the game. But there is many things to remember, like interactions new mechanics and new boss rules. It's cool and challenging on the rough side.
Can I ask you about something I am unsure about legacy? I don't want to spoiler, so... It's about the mage specific card (custom abilities) don't read further if you want no spoiler. Even though It's a really small spoiler. So, the mage card has so far 1 ability that I have chosen from. (but still 1 ability room left - not unlocked yet - to choose from) Chosen from either a spell effect or gem effect. That means it will become that archtype of card. The confusing part is that the spellcard has no damage indicator yet, but needs to be used like a spell and that also goes for the gem. There is no aether gain. Only the color on the ability yellow and purple for archtypes. How would you deal with this Situation?
