    My mate, a tough lad from Llanelli asked Mr Doak to trAin his youngest daughter in real self defence. Mr Doak agreed, visited the house for fifteen afternoons and gave her three hours training each time on the back lawn. Taught her some real and brutal self defence and wouldn't take a penny for his time. The girls mum was disabled and she helped care for her. Mr Doak was a true gentleman.

      I've taken Aikido and BJJ and wrested in high school a bit. I can see how technical he is , not wasting any movement. an in depth understanding of skeletal mechanics. this is great stuff.

      That is a true demonstration of the spirit of martial arts!! So often now being a bad ass is the only focus (mma- at least it’s image) and while that is truly important to a warrior- so is the soft power he demonstrated with his character!😎

    Now here is a sensei who knew jujutsu through and through. I really admire not only his attention to detail but also his insistence on caring for one's partner when practicing dangerous techniques. It only takes one serious injury in this art to put an end to it all. I am sure half the injuries I sustained in my martial arts journey could have been prevented with the right instruction. You cannot respect enough a man like the late Billy Doak.

What is seen here is intensity and the precision of unmatched proportions. I just want you to know that this material serves over people to develop their own jiu jitsu and to keep the tradition ongoing.

    Sensei Morgan, first off along me to offer you my deepest condolences on such an obviously irreplaceable loss. I never had the pleasure to meet your Shihan but he was very respected in our JJ circles. I have been a student of old style JJ for almost 48 yrs and a teacher for almost 36 of them and also a Hachidan. This was one of the best presented seminars and wazas I have ever had the distinct honor and pleasure to watch.His Yudansha Shareen I believe is her name is she related to him as well in someway, it seems, that a young lady of the skill set is often related as a wife or daughter or something of that nature. She has certainly done a great job as did you Sensei Morgan His wazas were done with conviction, safety,impunity and a great deal of love for his students and the art. Your black belts Yudansha's are what black belts should look like and act like. I am very impressed Shihan Morgan. Arigato Gozaimasu for sharing. Regarding other ridculous comments here, I am not even going to take the time to debate or address. well done Sir fantastic job.

      That was his wife. She got kicked out of her parents and he took her in and trained her and then started...you know...and they got married.
      She got to keep everything he had just by being a woman. Women have it easier than men I personally think but that's what makes us men because of the hardship and if a man isn't in hardship of anything then he's a vag boy in my opinion.

    As a long time bjj'er I really like Billy's grappling techniques. Very direct and to the point with good transitions from move to move. Sometimes bjj can get so overly detailed that you cant remember moves. These seem very easy to remember

    • @lambosnicko
      @lambosnicko 8 месяцев назад

      Thats why you practice. You don’t learn all the details the first time you learn a technique. Get a base for the move, then you work on the details over time. Also im yet to see half of these “brutal techniques” put into practice with resistance or against a bigger stronger aggressor.
