'Lethal Russian Attacks' on US and European Bases If Ukraine Allowed Long-Range Strikes, West Warned

- US Intelligence agencies believe allowing Kyiv to use long-range Western missiles against targets deep in Russia could prompt forceful retaliation. Russia is likely to retaliate with greater force against the US and its coalition partners, possibly with lethal attacks, as per the intelligence agencies. US Vice President and Democratic presidential nominee Kamala Harris criticised her US election rival Donald Trump's "surrender" policy on Ukraine. Meanwhile, Russia is reportedly building a new but unidentified structure near the Crimean Bridge, the Ukrainian Navy reported. Russian attacks killed eight people in Donetsk, Odesa and Kherson oblasts, Ukrainian officials said on September 27.
