I’ve been obsessed with these two since the movie came out back in July and didn’t think I’d make a video for them. But then when listening to this song a few weeks back, I realized how fitting it was for Joe and Nicky, so I felt inspired.
This movie and this couple are so great and refreshing, I highly recommend watching The Old Guard if you haven’t already. And hopefully this video gets some love despite being posted many months after the movie’s release, especially since my love for this couple hasn’t waned even after all that time.

I adore this enormously!!! What incredible use of limited footage - so creatively knitted together. And the scattered bits of source audio are so effectively blended in. I have been working on a TOG vid for months so I know the footage intimately, yet this made it feel fresh again. Gorgeous!!! 😍

this edit with the song choice is propably the best ive seen of nicky and joe like ever.
i really liked that you cut the truck scene up in different pieces so it didnt stop the action. the whole vid has an amazing flow with the fast editing, this was mesmerising to watch

This was incredible 😍 The colouring was amazing, and the way you cut to the music and lyrics is perfect! Some of my favourite bits were 0:26 (matching the smiling with the lyric), 1:45 (the musical build up matching with the end of the speech and the literal build up to the fight scene!), and 2:12 and 2:20 (having them kiss at "naturally", as well as cutting so cleanly between fight scenes). Tl;dr this is wonderful! 🤩

All the good scenes are in there, some of the best lines and I love how well each cut is timed to the song (btw, great song pick as well). There is just so much time and effort put into this and it truly shows. Great work! Really stunning :)
