Was at the game on Friday night atmosphere was electric.
How they didn't call that a direct forearm to the head by Harper around the 74th minute mark I have no idea and the touchy was right there
Then he did it again literally the next tackle on Ford
Nrl on top
no Matt Thomson??? Thank you so much for giving our ears a well deserved break from the cringe master
Shuster is on 800K for this kind of lazy display??? Since the "Jersey gate", it is obvious that he is one of the most overhyped player
lol
Although a wins a win, Pompey & Montoya better do some major homework if they're to defend against the likes of Staggs & Cobbo, Mitchell & Johnston, Manu & Suaali'i, Farmworth & Oates, Olam & Warbick or Peachy & To'o.
The forwards had a see-saw styled battle as opposed to dominating with yardage, but that came down to Manly's defense bolting off their line effectively. But these are things the Warriors need to get around against the coming top 5 teams.
A good win over a club that has consistently been the 'bogey team' for the Warriors since their inception into the NRL. With Manly winning 25 of their last 37 games against the Warriors, as their backline attack & defense - lead by maestros Cherry Evans, Foran, Lyons & Stewart causing the most damage over the years. But now they need to knuckle down against next few teams.
Steady that ship lads, make the necessary improvements, 1 week & 1 game at a time.
Go Warriors.
I trust Andrew Webster he knows exactly what to do. You can hear Andrew Webster say all these things on fox league after every game and he lives up to his word every week so I trust Andrew Webster π― per cent.

I've never had 'trust' issues with the Coach or his job, it's with the players inability to execute the coaches constructive criticisms & improvement tips.
I didn't raise this issue purely as a talking point. I raised this issue because oppositions have been exposing the defensive lapses & consistently scoring down their side of the field for the last 8-9 games. It is a very real problem they need to address if they're going up against the competitions leading attacking point-scorers.
The hesitation Pompey & Montoya display in their defense lapses... Latrell, Joseph, Herbie, Justin & Kotoni don't suffer from in their defensive game, they are solid defenders. Pompey & Montoya just need to match it, or better it. Because anything less, will result in points being scored down their side.
This is a very real problem that can't be fixed with just 'trusting' the coach, it can only be fixed by the players translating Websters pointers into action. Learning to identify a threat quicker, before racing into nulify the threat - and actually putting it into action.
And as a former center/winger, we call it 'Ball Watching' - a moment during the game when defenders are waiting for ball runners to tackle, instead of shooting up in defense for a 'ball-and-all' tackle. A 'Ball-and-All' tackle is one defender tackles one ball runner preventing an 'Offload' - and without the help of another defender in the tackle.
And this is the tactic the other centers & wingers are performing more effectively than Pompey & Montoya - often resulting in turnovers, counter-attacking opportunites and point-scoring opportunities. So against these teams, Pompey & Montoya need to identify & execute the defensive patterns correctly or they'll get scored on every single time.
At this business end of the season, defensive lapses can cost a team dearly.
β@@nemo9343like what I said Andrew Webster has everything under control you just gonna have to trust him to do his work. Andrew Webster says after every game every week on the things that they need to work on, everything that you're saying Andrew Webster already knows it already. He know what to do. There is nothing that you can say that Andrew Webster hasn't already said after every game.
Dude it's just a game don't think too deep we don't want your life storyπ
