This is the best tutorial. Telling the size of paper length an width tells me you really want to teach us how to do this. Thank you so much! This owl is so versatile an adorable!!
You are welcome 🥰 I really want to teach with my videos and I want to share my experience with you. I appreciate your feedback. It motivates me to make more videos like this 🥰 Thank you very much 😊
I love this video. I have been a quiller for quite a few years. I stopped doing it for awhile (many reasons). This tutorial is just the right thing to start me off again without getting frustrated. I am dyin' over the eyebrows! 😂❤ Keep up the great work!!!
That's great to hear. I'm glad you loved the video. You won't believe me when I tell you that I just learned the word eyebrow today (after 15 years of speaking english). I always thought it ends with an n like in german 😂 Anyway I'm happy to make you laugh 😊
Thank you so much for this tutorial. I have had fun making him. I have just started quilling and found this so easy to follow. I will have a look at your other videos.
I love this video. You are the best teacher to demonstrate each steps in detail. Too adorable quill of owls. All are so colorful and different. Love them all.🦉
Hello! I was at a quilling workshop and we made a picture with flowers. at the end we coated it with varnish. I didn't like it the most, because I thought it looked better without the varnish. Can you tell me if this is really necessary or not. Thank you very much for the answer and of course for all the videos in which you nicely guide beginners through the initial problems.
Hi, first of all thank you for your nice words :) I appreciate it ❤️ When I started quilling I thought I have to cover everything with glue/varnish. But I was never happy about that shiny surface and then I stop doing it and nothing happened to any of my quillings. I thought the vibrant colors would fade away. But this never happened. There are other ways to protect your quillings from fading for example by framing them. The most important fact is to avoid direct sun light. My quillings are all framed and hanging on my wall and their colors are still vibrant. Sometimes it can be necessary to cover your quillings like quilling earrings or quilling keychains to protect them from water or to make them sturdier. I personally wouldn't do it because I always want to hide my glue. The quillings will look more professional. When you use glue to make your quillings sturdier, you can use thicker paper instead. This works very well for quilling snowflakes. I hope my answer was helpful 😊
@@AbisArtwork Your answer really helped me decide. I am also glad that you did not answer with yes or no, but explained why you do this. I wish you many more beautiful and successful days.
Absolutamente todos los búhos son maravillosos y el video llego en el momento preciso, ya que en unos meses mi hija se gradua de la secundaria tendré tiempo de practicar y regalarle uno 🦉😊
You're very skillful Abi! A kids room decorated with these quills would look amazing! 😍 I like your color combination sense, they all look so cute! 😄 Well done Abi! 🥰
Thank you Abi - I can see the strips are 3mm and 30cm long, but I can't see how many strips you joined together. So sorry to bother you again!!!@@AbisArtwork

That's a nice idea, Koy! I think 100 owls would be enough for a kids room 🥰
How long is the first strip for making the body please? These are delightful!
Thank you!
I mentioned all measurements in the video. 0:33 is about the body part.
Happy quilling :)

the body part is made of a 3m long strip which means that I glued 10 strips together
