@@mikelitoris7914 50 himself admitted the Tyson mansion was a horrible mistake he made at the time. He sold it for 1.9M when he originally listed it at near 16 mil or something along those lines. He said it was one of the biggest mistakes he ever made and sold it at a HUGE loss since he bought it for almost 10 mil.

You don't buy cars. You buy land... Cars will always depreciate. A few old rare cars you can sell for a lil profit but most old cars cost less than basic Tahoe's and expeditions etc. I grew up watching Barrett Jackson. We used to be like Ill never be able to buy a classic car. Now? They are a 1/4 to half the cost to most any new car or truck.
You know........he has a point. Even Carvana wouldn't give you anything close to what was spent. Meanwhile on a much lower / relatable scale check out Escalade prices. Horrible depreciation value in a rapidly short time.

Nah, the Veyron is a future classic. Revolutionary car, will be worth waaaay more in the future. If he actually got it for under a mil, he is very lucky. Today they are way over 1 m already. Something newer doesn’t mean better especially when we talk about collectible cars. The 1969 Mustang Boss 429 is worth much more than any new Mustang, because it’s much more badass! And I actually prefer the simple and elegant look of the Veyron to the newer models, which look like RC toys))

I remember when T-pain bought a Bugatti for like 2.2 million and one of the radiators went out on it. To get it repaired, he said it would cost $1 million. He ended up selling the car for I think 1.3 million. He said that was the worst investment he ever made.

The one smart thing he has ever said. It is impossible to sell any used luxury car or supercar. There is no where to sell them. Anyone with a million dollars to waste on a car doesn't buy a used car. That's why u can buy a 2010 range rover for 10k. There is no market for used luxury vehicles. The only people who want a used luxury car more than a year old are people who can't actually afford a luxury car. So a 100k Mercedes s500 becomes worth 15k 6 years later. People with money never buy cars worth over 30k. They will always lease their 80k dollar cars, because they get a new one every 2 years and they are not stuck losing 60k when they need to sell it 2 years later. A $500 car payment is a much better deal than losing 60k every 2 years.

Believe it or not that model of 08 Bugatti is one of few off the line that can be modified performance wise for racing....kind like the M3 for BMW....maybe he bought it for that, maybe he didn't.
