I really respect that Ken Ham appears to be passing the torch. There are many good but aging Christian leaders that are not doing that.

Martyns use of the word of God in politics in Australia was a shift and carried a lot of authority because of standing on Gods word.
13:45 We can't afford private school and are unable to home school, so this is exactly my approach and it's been successful so far. We need to equip are youth and train them in the truth, why it's true, and how to answer those who have tough questions.

Why we have this current culture because the generation then in the past failed to teach their children the Word of God. If we right now start to teach the Bible to our children we will see a change in our culture

I think Ken Ham is wrong and a bit arrogant on his stance about creation, but i nonetheless consider him a brother and i respect his boldness.

@thomasstokes1949 in the past I didn't like him, but slowly I've come around. Same with James White and Jeff Durbin, I found these kind of guys to be excessively abrasive. But I think that was my own worldliness, this video did warm me up to Ken, gonna watch some of his stuff again and see.

The belief in Genesis has to come from God. I don’t think many people would be convinced from evolution to Genesis by any argument, no matter how logical. Every commenter, school teacher, radio host, everyone believes the earth and everything in/on it came from evolution. They just casually say it. They all think we’re nuts for believing the Genesis account. It’s so depressing. But anyway, I believe the Genesis account. I think you have to teach your children when they’re young. Teach them the solid arguments so they will be able to counter the universities, the professors and atheist students, and won’t get knocked around for having no answers. They might get knocked around but that will be because of their belief in Jesus. And that’s okay. Jesus said we would.
I really don’t think you can be a Christian and believe in evolution. For a start, you would have to think everything was _not_ good before Man came along. You would have to think that every man did _not_ sin, since Adam (who they shouldn’t logically believe in either) would have had a father who did _not_ sin. The believing of both of these points contradict God’s word.
You are right that the belief needs to come from God. A person must be regenerated by the Holy Spirit and have the Spirit lead them into all Truth. I got into a conversation online with an atheist who had deconstructed his faith AFTER reading through the Bible twice. He found the God of Bible to be immoral and monstrous with endorsing slavery and genocide.
@@carynmason3421 He never understood God. It’s funny how he believes what God says about Himself in the Bible are true, and believes God is immoral, also based on the God’s own words. Amazingly he has then has decided he is an atheist who _doesn’t_ believe God’s word. He’s a mixed up chappie.

@@greghill3784 we just love going. It builds our families faith. Staff are wonderful and friendly resources are great. I’d much rather do that then go to some godless amusement park that’s just or more expensive.

Being that light/salt, seeing our Godly works (visible, active) - when others see it, it's familiar to them because God made THEM in His image and as Romans 1 says they are aware (because of that) of His divine nature...So we are reaffirming what God has fundamentally made them aware of already to some extent - something they are trying to suppress..

When the scripture says that Christ is going to reconcile all things, he's not talking about bugs and inanimate objects. He's talking about the old Covenant world that was in bondage to the law, sin, and covenant death which was sonship death. Christ reconciling the old Covenant world to himself through the cross means that those who were in bondage to the law and in Covenant death had been liberated and given the adoption as sons and co-heirs with Christ (Gal 4). It has nothing to do with this idea of bugs and scorpions. Please, don't butcher the Bible. It's a covenantal and spiritual book and needs to be spiritually discerned and understood through a covenant context.
There has never been bondage to the Law, Jesus saved us from bondage to SIN
@@ShuwshanEmeq-xb3mk Read the book of Galatians, Paul literally says that they were in bondage/captivity to the law and the old Covenant body of death in Adam. YOU were never under the old Covenant bondage. Do you not understand the biblical narrative?
@adamsonnet They were in bondage to SIN and death because they broke God's Law. That means because they broke God's Law they were guilty and condemned to death. Being separated from God is death. You may physically live temporarily, but when you die without God and unrepentant for living in rebellion, you will never be with God in heaven. Once we have repented of breaking God's Law and come to realize His ways are higher, then we repent and walk in obedience. Then the Law will be written on our heart so we will obey.
We are going to need to be humbled as a nation to change. The Lord will humble us quick. When that happens, all this sinful nonsense will cease.

Jesus said God made them male and female from the beginning. He is referring to Adam and Eve. If Adam and Eve were made from the beginning, then they couldn’t have been the product of millions of years of evolution.

It's man's word. Or it's Ken's Word.
We are already in the new heavens and the new earth. The language is covenantal, not cosmological. How do I know this? If we are not in the new heavens in the new earth the entire ceremonial law is still in effect. Jesus said, until having an earth pass away, not one jot or title of the law shall pass away.

Holding to the historical and literal interpretation of Genesis chapters 1-3 will keep us in step with the rest of the Holy Scriptures. Their is no reason to assume the evolutionary framework or old earth theory. The very same way Adam and Eve were created with build in age being literally one day old when created we can apply that scriptural evidence to the world and all the universe. If Adam and Eve being one day old was to go to a modern physician for a check up he would conclude based on their anatomy that they were much older than what they actually were. This does not mean that his process in giving them a check up was wrong he would just be ignorant of specific information. The same can apply to the Earth and modern scientists who give their estimation of its age. They are trying to us man made creaturely processes to inform them of the act of the All Powerful Sovereign Creator. This God can create a fully functioning earth without waiting millions of year He indeed can and did create with just a Breath Let There Be and it was. Who are you oh man to question God??

Also, just because Cain is the first (male) child mentioned, it doesn't mean that Adam and Eve couldn't have had female children before him.
