This course has enriched my life and enlightened me beyond words and has also added the missing flavour to my prayers and my reading of the Quran. Thanks for posting these as complete lessons. As Salaamu Alaikum wa RahmatulLahi wa Barakatuh,Br Asif revived the Learning of Arabic Grammer ,with his love of the Quran and He brought the author of the Madina Arabic Books to Toronto,ALHAMDULILLAH ,We were very fortunate in knowing and spending time with the late Dr V Abdur Raheem .May ALLAH SWT grant jannatul firdaus to all Marhooms..May ALLAH SWT reward Br Asif for his patience in teaching all of us and grant him good health ,so hemay continue with his work.
I'm an Arab native speaker and I can say that regardless of this teacher's bad pronunciation but he is honestly a man of knowledge! To all none Arabs learners here I could say; Arabic is an ocean of knowledge! Its the most powerful language, the most languages that human minds worked on! Millions of books during the last 1000 years! The genius grammarians put this language under the microscope, and study it so accurately! Using many references such as: ancient Arabic poetry, oratory, proverbs, prose, the Qur'an and the Sunnah. With all of these tools their unbelievable great minds were able to come up with this great noble knowledge of (ilm al-Nahu wa al- Sarf) or Arabic Grammar and Morphology knowledge. Believe it or not with out these cumulative knowledge of more than a 1000 years old of digging deep in these knowledges Arabs and all Muslims will not be able to read their names correctly Let alone to understand the Quran and Sunnah! May Allah reward them immensely.
Salaam Alaikum Rahmatullahi wa barakatahu. Brother I'm not here for his pronunciation but for his knowledge and my brother I've learned a lot just by his videos. AL HAMDULILLAH arabic is the language of ALLAH and everyone should learn it to understand The Quran. Me as a non arabic facing many difficulties in learning this Arabic but I'm trying. Pray for me brother.
For anyone wondering about the effectiveness of this curriculum, or for anyone asking questions such as 'Will I be fluent at the end?" and "Will I understand the Quran after this course". Here is my answer to these questions: In reality, these are not great questions to ask, you are here to learn and make progress towards understanding the Quran, hadeeth and scholarly works and speaking Fusha (MSA). No single curriculum, book or curriculum will make u understand everything completely so do not get ahead of yourself, put it in the work and see the results and don't just dream about the end result. However, as the teacher has said in multiple lectures in this course, this book will teach you the majority of Quranic grammar and a large portion of both classical and modern vocabulary. This also means you will understand an even larger chunk of most Fusha (MSA) being spoken and written because their grammar is usually simpler than in the Quran or poetry. As the teacher has said before, you just need to learn more vocabulary to understand the majority of the Quran which you can do by reading and listening to Arabic, translating the words and then put them into flashcards. This can be physical or digital, I recommend using the program called Anki to do it digitally. So yes this course will greatly help you in understanding the Quran but its just the beginning. But do not let that demotivate you, it should be exciting that is even more things to learn and in Sha Allah every effort we put in will be rewarded. The author رَحِمَهُ الله has created a whole curriculum to do afterwards that can bring you to advanced levels of Arabic (The Alfiyyahof ibn malik, 1000 line poem in Arabic Grammar) You can find more about that on this website: arabic.naveeraashraf.com/ As for my personal experience, I can understand a large chunk of Quran being recited, spoken Fusha (MSA) such as the khutbah or the imam speaking after prayer and mutoon (simple texts for students of islamic knowledge). It seems the biggest hurdle is vocabulary but I will continue to work on that as well as the curriculum mentioned above. You should know that the most exciting part of learning a language is when you can start immersing yourself by reading and listening.
My first day today and I learned quite a bit to begin sorting out my spoken Sudanese Arabic experience. Like the teacher's method a lot! Shukran, ya ustaz! Allahi baraq fik!

It's all by the grace of Allah and the tremondious work of brother Asif that made me to fall in love deeply with Quran & truely I got the actual path towards the the journey to explore & learn more on that to chase my thrust. Arabic grammar is an ocean of independent knowledge! Even the Arabs of today themselves can't master it! Believe it or not it's much easier for the foreigners to learn it than the Arabs! Because the Arabic schools are so weak to the point in which they make Arabs hate the Arabic grammar.
Jazakallahu khayran to this teacher, i've learned a lot even though his way of teaching is slow-paced, and that made us beginners understand the lessons smoothly!

Thank you for your time. This is a wonderful gift to everyone who wants to learn something new. So many things in this world cost money. Education should not be one of them.
Thanks for your very interesting article, here are a few more tips on how to learn Arabic… Set realistic goals, don’t just dive in and say “I want to be fluent Arabic within 1 year”, give yourself short term goals which lead up to long term goals. E.g. Short Term Goal = “I want to learn all about this topic in 1 month” and Long Term Goal = “I aim to be able to speak about at least 12 topics within the next 12 months Make time, you will need to set some time aside, preferably on a day to day basis, so you can achieve your goal. I highly recommend blocking out actual time on your calendar every day and really commit to this. Think of it as an appointment with your doctor that you wouldn’t consider missing. That is exactly how you should treat this task. As little as 20 minutes a day is a great start. Immerse yourself in the language, meet Arabic speaking friends, listen to the radio, watch a show on TV, and try to read the newspaper. Even if you do not fully understand the content, keep it as a daily exercise and you will eventually make sense of it all. The other great news is this listening exercise is the only way to improve your accent. Your brain will process all the information and you will notice the improvement with time. Have a practice buddy, keep yourself motivated and accountable by practicing Arabic with a friend. It is always a good strategy to practice the language with someone who is fluent and non-judgmental. I have a friend who practices Arabic with me and I practice English with her. (I discovered about these and more from Mirykal lingo guide site )

For anyone wondering about the effectiveness of this curriculum, or for anyone asking questions such as 'Will I be fluent at the end?" and "Will I understand the Quran after this course". Here is my answer to these questions:
In reality, these are not great questions to ask, you are here to learn and make progress towards understanding the Quran, hadeeth and scholarly works and speaking Fusha (MSA). No single curriculum, book or curriculum will make u understand everything completely so do not get ahead of yourself, put it in the work and see the results and don't just dream about the end result. But do not let that demotivate you, it should be exciting that is even more things to learn and in Sha Allah every effort we put in will be rewarded. The author رَحِمَهُ الله has created a whole curriculum to do afterwards that can bring you to advanced levels of Arabic (The Alfiyyahof ibn malik, 1000 line poem in Arabic Grammar) You can find more about that on this website: arabic.naveeraashraf.com/
As for my personal experience, I can understand a large chunk of Quran being recited, spoken Fusha (MSA) such as the khutbah or the imam speaking after prayer and mutoon (simple texts for students of islamic knowledge). It seems the biggest hurdle is vocabulary but I will continue to work on that as well as the curriculum mentioned above. You should know that the most exciting part of learning a language is when you can start immersing yourself by reading and listening.

I have a suggestion . I am an Arab. I would like to learn English. What do you think we communicate and learn English from you? And at the same time you learn Arabic from me
Best teacher of Arabic I came across.❤
Jazzakum Allahu khayrun! mashaAllah tabarakAllah what an awesome teacher! Bravo!!
JK brother, I have only watched about 15 minutes of your lecture and I like the pace and your way of teaching so far, giving examples or comparing with English language. I am English speaking and I understand. I am also taking arabic class at our masjid and my teacher uses "Arabic terminology" for masculine and feminine and noun, mudhakkar, muannath, marifa, nakira, etc. May Allah bless you for teaching this. I hope to continue to listen to this course. I hope you have many more. May Allah SWT bless you and your family.

"Are you with me brother and sister."
Thanks for your very interesting article, here are a few more tips on how to learn Arabic…
Set realistic goals, don’t just dive in and say “I want to be fluent Arabic within 1 year”, give yourself short term goals which lead up to long term goals. E.g. Short Term Goal = “I want to learn all about this topic in 1 month” and Long Term Goal = “I aim to be able to speak about at least 12 topics within the next 12 months
Make time, you will need to set some time aside, preferably on a day to day basis, so you can achieve your goal.
Love it. Alhamdulillah. Allah increase him in all good. Ameen
Masha Allah
