To answer 2 questions you had:
1. 1dev2 got banned on roblox because someone hacked their account and did bad stuff to get them banned.
2. I believe the game is just called Movie Maker (2). I remember I played this game back then before it got closed forever.

for those who are unaware using the built in roblox recorder back then would absolutely tank framerate especially on bad computers. the games weren't actually that laggy

Even though I only played old Roblox once on a Windows 2000 Computer and didn't start actually playing for over a decade as an adult, these videos DO make me nostalgic for old RUclips. The videos back then felt so personal.
roblox never supported windows 2000.

windows 2000 never supported roblox because it didn't have the hardware or the amount of kb to do it. old roblox had alot of gigabyte still and windows 2000 only supported up to around 650 MB. Thus it would not of been possible to play roblox on windows 2000. and fully fledged 3d games weren't even on 2000 and sometimes only offline 3d games get on it. extra: it never supported 2000 so that's proof
legends says that Dob is still stuck on the ground to this day.

Bruh I joined Roblox on 2009 and back then it was all diferent from now, and the 2011 interface was brand new by that time, now both the 2009 and 2011 interfaces are so retro by today's standards...

I joined in 2008, these old videos are so nostalgic! I miss those days. I'm probably too old to play anymore but I had a lot of fun over the years I did. My obby went to the front page back in 2009 and that was an amazing experience.

you're never too old for roblox. there's games on roblox that are just that... games, proper games that no-one would bat an eye at if they saw you playing them on steam. it's come a long way.
You should watch more old roblox videos of other people and just do commentary on it as if you were playing it live. I feel like that would be fun.
The commentary lag from the actual action would fit well with the game lag
I'm not that old to roblox, I made my first account in 2016, I remember playing "RUclips Factory Tycoon" and instead of actually doing the tycoon, I would add the person with the biggest tycoon as a friend and ask them to let me in so I could mess around with the gears lmao
I played that 2019 but now when I search it up its not there instead it's sad to see the p2w RUclips tycoon
I’m actually getting a huge nostalgia wave this seeing this. I used to play roblox around 10 years ago when i was little little then stopped playing. I rejoined when hide and seek extreme was super popular and i’ve continued to play since then. I love to see how roblox has grown and evolved throughout the years. (edit: I love the old roblox water texture. Also in the second video it the game was remade and reuploaded and it was called GTA 5 on roblox and a lot of exploiters and online daters played it. I personally played it for the free boomboxes lol. The zombie game was also reuploaded but was very fun to play with my friends because of how easy it was to win)

I've been playing Roblox since 2012 but i was not laggy. Computers were actually strong enough to let you play old Roblox without any lag back then. But the whole lag starts when you start recording because there were not so many computers made that handles video records. I remember even RUclips was sometimes laggy back then.
Yeah. I think it was because every roblox video back then was recorded with the crappy roblox recorder because most kids didn't know how to download 3rd party recorders
I had beefy computer back then so roblox wasnt really laggy for me even when recording. I haven't tried the roblox recording though
Sorry, i'm a year late but even if you weren't recording, old roblox was still laggy. the max was set at 30 fps for really good computers and XP was strutting against that. so in reality you only get 15 fps but recording gives about 3

DriveBlox was the best game I played back then, I remember going on the old computer going on to DriveBlox and then buying a red hatchback to drive.
watching driveblox unlimited brought back many childhod memories even though i joined in 2015 and it being one of my first few games i played, first being phantom forces and then followed by craft wars and armored patrol
